
Bunda Mulia University, through a team of lecturers and students from the Psychology Study Program, conducted a Community Service (PKM) activity at Regina Pacis Middle School, Jakarta with two main themes: “Safe Schools, High-Achieving and Happy Students: Stop Bullying, Stop Sexual Violence, and Stop Intolerance” and “Servant Leadership.” This activity took place on September 3 and October 13, 2025, involving more than 70 students in grades 7–9. Through interactive sessions, discussions, simulations, and real-life action projects, students were encouraged to develop positive character, appreciate differences, and learn to become servant leaders.
The first session was held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, via Zoom meeting. The material was delivered by Ms. Meriana, S.Pd., M.Si and Ms. Sherly., M.Psi., Psychologist, who provided an interesting presentation on social issues among adolescents, especially regarding bullying, sexual violence, and the importance of tolerance in the school environment. This session was filled with interactive activities such as questions and answers, as well as short reflections that encouraged students to be more open in expressing their views and experiences regarding these issues.
Through an educational and warm approach, students are encouraged to understand the negative impacts of violence and intolerance, while fostering empathy, respect, and caring for their peers. This activity also emphasizes the importance of fostering a positive school climate where everyone feels accepted and safe to learn and grow.


The second session, held on Monday, October 13, 2025, focused on the theme of “Servant Leadership.” The activity was held onsite at Regina Pacis Middle School, Jakarta, with Ms. Meriana, S.Pd., M.Si and Ms. Novia Purba, M.Psi., Psychologist as presenters. In this activity, students were introduced to the concept of leadership rooted in the values of humility, responsibility, and concern for others. In this session, students were invited to understand the true meaning of leadership, not just leading with authority, but leading with heart, humility, and service. The presenters emphasized that a good leader is one who is able to set an example through real actions, is willing to listen, and helps others to grow together. Through a communicative and interactive approach, students were encouraged to reflect on moral values, responsibility, and empathy for their peers.



This program aims to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive school environment, while instilling the values of empathy, responsibility, and social awareness. Through this collaboration, UBM is committed to supporting the development of a young generation with strong character and prepared to become future leaders with integrity.

Overall, the Community Service program conducted by a team of lecturers and students from the Psychology Study Program at Bunda Mulia University at Regina Pacis Middle School, Jakarta, had a significant positive impact on the students. Through two interactive and inspiring sessions, participants not only gained new knowledge about social issues within the school environment but also learned to recognize their own potential and develop interpersonal and leadership skills grounded in humanitarian values.
