
Jakarta, October 24, 2025 — The Student Association of the Faculty of Social and Humanities (FISH 2) of Bunda Mulia University, through an initiative from the Excellent Community of Management (XCM), successfully held an activity entitled “Softskill Training: Public Speaking for Leadership and Speaker”. The activity, which took place at The UBM Seminar Room (TUSR), became a self-development forum for students to improve their public speaking skills professionally and ethically. The training was attended by 149 participants consisting of students from the Management Study Program (XCM), Accounting (Accasia), Digital Business (Exodus), and Hospitality and Tourism, and was also attended by five supervising lecturers.

The event began at 11:30 a.m. WIB with remarks from the Supervisor of the Excellent Community of Management, Mr. Elkunny Dovir Siratan, S.Par., MM, who emphasized the importance of communication skills in building an inspiring leadership character. The main session presented Ms. Clara Agnesia Herlambang, S.Sn., MIKom., CPS., CDMP., a professional in the field of communication and self-development, as a resource person. In her training, she delivered interactive and applicable material on effective public speaking techniques, voice management, body language, and how to build a strong and ethical message. The atmosphere became even more lively when the question and answer session was opened, the participants showed high enthusiasm with various questions about strategies for appearing confident in front of the public.

The event then closed with a symbolic awarding of certificates to the speakers and a group photo session that marked the end of the activity with great warmth. Through this training, Bunda Mulia University students are expected to hone their self-confidence, enhance their communication skills, and apply public speaking skills to leadership and professional settings. This activity demonstrates FISH 2’s commitment to cultivating a superior, courageous, and communicative young generation in today’s competitive era.
