On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program of Bunda Mulia University (UBM) participated in the Hospitology 2025 activity held at Bina Nusantara University, Anggrek Campus. This event carried the theme “Exploring the Dynamic World of Hospitality and Tourism Industry” and is an annual event that brings together professionals, academics, and students from various universities in Indonesia. UBM’s participation in this activity was a special moment because it presented Chealsea Cicilia Lee, a 5th semester student of the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program, as a young resource person in one of the main talk show sessions. On this occasion, Chealsea shared her views and experiences regarding the dynamics of the hospitality world and the importance of innovation and adaptation amidst changes in the hotel and tourism industry. This activity was also accompanied by Mrs. Lamtiar Hema Malini, S.Par., MM, as the accompanying lecturer and Advisor of HIMA Hospar. The participation of UBM students as speakers serves as a form of recognition for student achievement and a tangible manifestation of UBM’s contribution to supporting the development of education and academic collaboration at the national level. Through this activity, students gain valuable experience in broadening their horizons, strengthening their public communication skills, and building professional networks with industry players. Hospitology 2025 is expected to become a platform that encourages the younger generation to continue actively participating, innovating, and contributing to the advancement of the Indonesian hospitality and tourism industry.
