Matana University’s Comparative Study Visit to Bunda Mulia University, Ancol Campus
On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, Bunda Mulia University (UBM) Ancol Campus hosted a comparative study visit from Matana University. This activity aimed to strengthen cooperation between universities and share experiences in managing study programs and academic activities.
The visit was welcomed by the Head of the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program, Mr. Antonius Rizki Krisnadi, S.ST.Par., M.M.Par. The event began with remarks from him, followed by remarks from Dr. Muhammad Rachman Mulyandi, S.E., M.B.A., Dean of the Faculty of Business and Tourism, Matana University. The event then continued with a presentation on the profiles of Bunda Mulia University and the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program, an interactive discussion, and a campus tour to see UBM’s various learning facilities and laboratories.
Participants in the comparative study included:
• From Bunda Mulia University: Mr. Antonius Rizki Krisnadi, S.ST.Par., M.M.Par. (Head of the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program).
• From Matana University: Dr. Muhammad Rachman Mulyandi, S.E., M.B.A. (Dean of the Faculty of Business and Tourism), Mr. Triandi Pradana, S.Tr.Par., M.Par. (Head of the Tourism Study Program), Ms. Ririsma Sihombing, S.E., M.M. (Head of the Management Study Program), Ms. Florencia Irena Lawita, S.E., M.Ak., M.M., Cert-DA. (Head of the Accounting Study Program), and Mr. Martin Japutra, S.E., M.M. (Supervisor of the Cooperation and Venture Institution).
The topics discussed in this comparative study included:
1. Undergraduate Tourism Curriculum,
2. International Programs, and
3. Practical Laboratory Management.
This activity is expected to be the beginning of broader collaboration in the future. Bunda Mulia University would like to thank Matana University for the trust given by Matana University for the comparative study visit that has been carried out and hopes that this activity can strengthen the network between universities in Indonesia, especially in the field of tourism and hospitality education.
