On Thursday, September 25, 2025, the Excellent Community of Management (XCM) held an Induction & Softskill Training event with the theme “Building Assertive Communication Skills” specifically for XCM members at the Serpong campus. This activity will be held on-site at Room M1, Bunda Mulia University, Serpong campus. This Induction & Softskill Training event aims to introduce XCM to new members. The program takes the form of a presentation for all XCM members regarding the work programs from the odd semester to the even semester in the 2025/2026 management period. This activity will also serve as a means for each XCM member to get to know other members in XCM for the 2025/2026 period better.
This Induction & Softskill Training event was attended by 49 XCM members from the Serpong campus, as well as Ms. Christy Ayu Sarah Panjaitan, S.E., M.M., the supervising lecturer of XCM and the speaker for this event, and Ms. Dr. Ika Pratiwi Simbolon, S.E., M.M., the Secretary of the Management Study Program. The event began at 5:30 PM WIB with an opening address for the Induction & Softskill Training by Chelsea Virya Gillian, the MC, who is an active 3rd-semester student in the Management Study Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia. Before the event began, all attendees first sang the national anthem of Indonesia, followed by the Universitas Bunda Mulia anthem. After that, there was a welcome speech from Ms. Dr. Ika Pratiwi Simbolon, S.E., M.M., the Secretary of the Management Study Program, followed by an introduction of the speaker for the Induction & Softskill Training, Ms. Christy Ayu Sarah Panjaitan, S.E., M.M. Next, the main session of the event was the presentation of the Softskill Training material. The material was presented by Ms. Christy Ayu Sarah Panjaitan, S.E., M.M., and covered how to build self-confidence, develop clear and assertive communication skills, and create a harmonious and productive organizational culture. The speaker also provided an explanation of good communication techniques.
After the material presentation session, the event continued with a Question and Answer session attended by the participants of the Induction & Softskill Training. During the Q&A session, a total of 2 participants asked questions to Ms. Christy Ayu Sarah Panjaitan, S.E., M.M., regarding the material presented.
After the material presentation session, the program continued with an introduction to the XCM Serpong Campus Work Program by the Chairman and Vice Chairman of XCM Serpong for the 2025/2026 period, followed by introductions of members from each division.
Next, we moved on to the games session, which was participated in by all attendees of the Induction & Softskill Training. All induction participants will be divided into 4 groups (per division) to play the games “Don’t Touch the Color” and “Grab the Bottle.” The winner of each game will be the champion team. The game “Don’t Touch the Color” was won by the Research and Development Division, and “Grab the Bottle” was won by the Finance Division.
Entering the final session of the XCM Induction & Softskill Training event, which is a group photo session followed by the event closing by the MC. We hope that the XCM Induction & Softskill Training event “Building Assertive Communication Skills” can provide benefits regarding building effective teamwork for all XCM members.
