In an effort to support final-year students currently undertaking their thesis course, the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) Serpong Campus successfully held a Data Processing Training using the PLS (Partial Least Squares) application. The training took place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, and Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the UBM Tower, Serpong Campus.
The training was conducted in two sessions, each led by experienced lecturers in data analysis. The first session was facilitated by Mr. Ongky Alex Sander, S.E., M.M., and attended by 23 students in Room 1108, while the second session was led by Mr. Nicholas Wilson, S.E., M.M., with 24 students participating in Room 1102. Each session began with an explanation of key concepts and applications of PLS, followed by a hands-on practice session that allowed students to directly apply the techniques to their respective research data. The training was highly interactive, with students actively asking questions and engaging in discussions to deepen their understanding of the analysis process.
The sessions were held smoothly, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the first day and 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the second day. Participants showed great enthusiasm throughout the activities, especially during the practical exercises. The event concluded with attendance confirmation and feedback collection from participants. It is hoped that this training will help students enhance their data analysis skills and apply them effectively in completing their theses.
