The Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) Ancol Campus organized a Data Processing Application Training aimed at enhancing students’ competence in effective and efficient data processing, particularly for Management students currently working on their undergraduate thesis. The training was divided into two sessions, focusing on the use of SmartPLS and SPSS data processing applications.

The first session featured training on the SmartPLS application, presented by Mr. Andreas Wijaya, SE., MM, and was held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, attended by 24 students. The session began at 1:00 PM WIB with an introduction to the SmartPLS application, followed by detailed instructions on how to operate it. Students then continued with hands-on practice. The training concluded at 4:00 PM WIB with an engaging Q&A session between the speaker and participants.

The second session focused on the SPSS application, delivered by Dr. Michael Christian, SE., MM, also held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, with 11 students in attendance. Starting at 3:00 PM WIB, the session began with a brief theoretical overview of data management. It then continued with practical SPSS training, tips and tricks for data analysis, including how to design research models, assess data validity and reliability, understand inner and outer models, and conduct mediation and moderation tests, among other topics. The SPSS training concluded at 6:00 PM WIB with a Q&A session.
Overall, both training sessions ran smoothly, with participants showing great enthusiasm, as reflected in their active participation, thoughtful questions, and positive feedback throughout the sessions. The data processing training using SmartPLS and SPSS concluded with stimulating questions and discussions from the participants, highlighting their engagement and interest in mastering data analysis tools.
