Jakarta, August 15, 2025 – The Accounting Study Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) successfully held the Welcoming Freshmen 2025 event on Friday, August 15, 2025, at The UBM Hall (TUH). The event was attended by 94 new students who are ready to embark on their academic journey in the 2025/2026 academic year.
The program began with a warm greeting from Martin Andreeanus, a student of the Accounting Study Program who served as the Master of Ceremony (MC). The event was then officially opened by Dr. Ririn Breliastiti, S.E., M.M., CSRS, Head of the Accounting Study Program. In her presentation, she introduced the faculty members, explained the lecture system, curriculum, as well as the vision and mission of the study program. She also emphasized the important role of the Accounting Student Association (HIMA Accasia) as a platform for students’ self-development.
In addition, during the discussion session, topics such as tips for graduating on time were highlighted. These included the importance of time management, maintaining consistency in studying, actively participating in lectures, and making the most of academic services and student organizations available. These messages served as valuable guidance for freshmen in planning their studies more effectively from the very beginning of their college journey.
The new students showed great enthusiasm by actively asking questions and engaging in discussions. This spirit reflected their readiness to adapt and grow within the academic environment of UBM.
Through this event, the Accounting Study Program of UBM hopes that the freshmen can gain a closer understanding of university life, build camaraderie, and be motivated to achieve success both in academic and non-academic fields.
