Anyone with the requisite dedication can share their knowledge by becoming an English language instructor. This is exemplified by Dr. Velly Anatasia, S.E., M.B.A., a lecturer in the Management Department at Universitas Bunda Mulia, Ancol Campus, who, in collaboration with Sierryn Christabelle Panca, a Management Department student at Universitas Bunda Mulia, Ancol Campus, and a member of the XCM UBM student organization, is actively engaged in such endeavors.

As is widely recognized, English, a foreign language, has become a de facto third language in Indonesia, particularly among Generations Z, Alpha, and Beta. Consequently, English proficiency has become essential for young people, encompassing a broad spectrum of learners from early childhood education through junior secondary school. Through her community engagement initiative at Paud Dahlia 01 in Rawa Buaya, West Jakarta, Dr. Velly Anatasia, S.E., M.B.A., seeks to promote the concept that entrepreneurial development can be fostered through language acquisition and a commitment to knowledge dissemination. Eventually, Dr. Velly, in collaboration with UBM student Sierryn Christabelle Panca, organized an English language learning event for the children of Paud Dahlia 01.

This activity, conducted on two occasions, Saturday, June 28, 2025, and Saturday, September 13, 2025, provided valuable experiences not only for the students of Paud Dahlia 01, who were allowed to learn English, but also for young people in general. It demonstrated that entrepreneurial ventures can be initiated by leveraging the skills each individual possesses. For example, proficiency in a foreign language, such as English, can be utilized to establish a private tutoring business.
The event commenced with introductory games and familiarization activities with the students of Paud Dahlia 01. This was followed by a presentation session led by Dr. Velly Anatasia, S.E., M.B.A., who elucidated techniques for teaching children, particularly in the context of foreign languages. The session also included a discussion of the English language content and worksheets provided to the children.
The activity concluded with a group photograph featuring the children of Paud Dahlia 01, showcasing their work from the English learning session. Additionally, refreshments were provided, further enhancing the children’s enthusiasm.
