Did you know? On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, the Management Study Program at Bunda Mulia University, Ancol Campus, successfully held a public lecture onsite in The UBM Seminar Room with the theme “Planning The Sales Call is A Must”.”

The public lecture commenced at 10:30 AM WIB and was opened by Mrs. Dr. Velly Anatasia, S.E., M.B.A as the moderator.
The event began with a welcome speech from Mrs. Tannia, S.E., M.M, Head of the Management Study Program at Bunda Mulia University, followed by the reading of the speaker’s CV, Mr. Brando Tengdom, S.E., M.M., M.B.A, Director of Sales and Marketing at PT. Indonusa Telemedia (Transvision).

Brando Tengdom is the Director of Sales and Marketing at PT. Indonusa Telemedia (Transvision). Today, Mr. Brando had the opportunity to share his knowledge and 30 years of experience in the world of sales and marketing, starting from the banking industry to the television industry today. According to Mr. Brando, understanding the importance of factors that influence the success of the sales process from start to finish is very important. In addition, building a career in sales can also be started at any time, so in this case, students are very motivated and have their horizons broadened that being in sales is something to be proud of and can be a brilliant career in the future.
Furthermore, students were also invited to think critically by studying their own characteristics, as well as how to analyze their potential customers well. With a deep understanding of oneself and the person being spoken to during the sales process, the sales process can run well, and with thorough preparation, it will increase the success of that sales process.
After the presentation session by Mr. Brando, Mrs. Velly Anatasia continued by inviting all public lecture participants to a question and answer (Q&A) session. The enthusiasm of the students was evident as they asked various interesting questions that were closely related to the topic “Planning The Sales Call is A Must” and received direct responses from Mr. Brando Tengdom as the Director of Sales and Marketing of PT. Indonusa Telemedia (Transvision) as well as the speaker in a very comprehensive manner.

This event concluded with the presentation of a Token of Appreciation to Mr. Brando Tengdom, S.E., M.M., M.B.A by Mrs. Dr. Lelly Christin, SE., MM, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Bunda Mulia University.
With the holding of this Public Lecture entitled “Planning The Sales Call is A Must,” we hope to contribute to the participants’ in-depth understanding of the importance of understanding the aspects of sales management before truly entering the world of sales in today’s business.
