Buddhist Leadership Training 2025 KMB Dhammamitta “Leading Through the Dhamma: Integrity, Compassion, and Wisdom”

Jakarta, August 2, 2025 – Sotthi Hotu, Namo Buddhaya, Namo Amitofo. The Buddhist Student Activity Unit (UKR) KMB Dhammamitta of Bunda Mulia University has successfully organized the Buddhist Leadership Training (BLT) under the theme “Leading Through the Dhamma: Integrity, Compassion, and Wisdom.” The event, held at Vihara Mudita Center, Sunter, was attended by 22 participants who are prospective committee members of KMB Dhammamitta for the 2025/2026 period, from both the Ancol and Serpong campuses.

The chosen theme reflects the noble values of Buddhist leadership: integrity to lead with honesty and consistency, compassion in serving and understanding the needs of others, and wisdom in making the right decisions for the greater good.

Through this program, the prospective committee members gained in-depth understanding of the history of KMB Dhammamitta, Buddhist leadership ethics, the role of Buddhist organizations within the campus environment, as well as technical skills such as proper correspondence practices to support the smooth operation of the upcoming management period.

Held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, the event featured four inspiring speakers covering various topics: Febita Valencia, S.Psi., Venerable Bhiksu Bhadra Pala Mahasthavira, Robin Viery, and Lina Noviana. With heartfelt joy, the entire KMB Dhammamitta board extends its deepest gratitude and appreciation to all parties who supported the event, making it a successful and meaningful occasion.
