On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program Student Association (HMP Hospar), along with Hospitality and Tourism lecturers from Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus, held a Hospitality and Tourism Study Program session at the 2025 Welcoming Freshmen event. The event involved members of the 2025/2026 HMP Hospar, Hospitality and Tourism lecturers from Bunda Mulia University, and several senior students as committee members, as well as new students from the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program from Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus, as participants.
This event aimed to welcome new students to the hospitality and tourism study program family, while also introducing them to the academic environment, curriculum, and lecture system. This activity was designed to help new students adapt to campus life and encourage students to become active participants in HMP Hospar as a means of personal development, networking, and leadership.
The event took place from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM WIB in classrooms R1106, R1107B, and R1108B, 11th Floor, UBM Tower. The 2025 Welcoming Freshmen program opened with a warm welcome from hospitality and tourism students and lecturers, members of the 2025/2026 Student Association (HMP Hospar), followed by a speech by Dr. Patricia Robin, S.Ikom., M.Ikom, Manager of Classroom 1A, UBM Serpong Campus.
The event began with presentations from Hospitality and Tourism lecturers on the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program: Ms. Andari Tirtadidjaja, S.ST.Par., M.Tr.Par., Sir. Hari Iskandar, SE., MM., and Sir. Antonius Rizki Krisnadi, SST. Par, MM.Par. Operations staff also participated in explaining and explaining the operations at Bunda Mulia University. This was followed by a session on the Hospitality and Tourism Student Association (HMP Hospar) led by members of the 2025/2026 HMP: Marcia Gunawan, Candy Maqdalene, Kelly Aurelia Wiryanto, Medelina, and Jones Emerson. The speakers enthusiastically and informatively explained the material and helped answer various questions posed by the new students, helping them better understand and find answers to their questions. This was followed by a games session led by senior Hospitality and Tourism students.
The 2025 Hospitality and Tourism Study Program Welcoming Freshmen also brought in alumni from Bunda Mulia University’s Hospitality and Tourism majors, including Nabila Kuswayan, Togar Nimrod Sianipar, and Stefaus Yandhika Djaja. This session aimed to provide a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the various Hospitality and Tourism majors at Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus, and to broaden the new students’ horizons regarding career opportunities in various fields.
In conjunction with the event, the Hospitality & Tourism Study Program Lecturers, along with the Hospitality & Tourism Study Program Student Association of Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus, expressed their hope that this activity would provide tangible benefits for all new Hospitality & Tourism Study Program students. This activity is expected to not only serve as a means of conveying information but also provide an overview of the world of studying in the Hospitality & Tourism field, from an introduction to the academic environment, curriculum, to opportunities for personal development.
