Collaboration Between Universitas Bunda Mulia and SMA Strada St. Thomas Aquino: Preparing Students for the Digital Accounting Era

Universitas Bunda Mulia, Serpong Campus – The Accounting Study Program, through the Big Data course, successfully conducted a Community Service Program (Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat/PKM) in collaboration with SMA Strada St. Thomas Aquino. This initiative was carried out in three groups on Wednesday, April 23, 2025; Wednesday, May 7, 2025; and Friday, May 23, 2025, at 14:30–15:15 WIB, 11:10–12:10 WIB, and 13:45–14:35 WIB respectively. All sessions were held face-to-face at SMA Strada St. Thomas Aquino.

The PKM activity engaged 37 participants from class XI-E, 23 participants from class XI-H, and 22 participants from class XI-A. The primary goal of this community service was to enhance students’ understanding of Big Data and its practical applications in everyday life, with a specific focus on accounting practices.

This activity was also supported by lecturers from both the Accounting and Information Systems Study Programs, including Ms. Veny, S.E., M.Ak., Mr. Tomi Bermana, S.E., M.M., Ak., Ms. Vianty Adella Santo, S.Ak., M.Ak., Ms. Yemima Monica Geasela, S.Kom., M.Kom., Mr. Ozmar Azhar, S.Kom., M.TI., and Ms. Dita Apriliani, S.Ds., M.Ds.
