Jakarta, June 28, 2025 — Students from the Bunda Mulia Long Distance Learning (BMLDL) program at Universitas Bunda Mulia participated in an inspiring webinar titled “From Local to Global: Building a Portfolio and Network for Your Dream Career Abroad,” held virtually on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
The webinar featured Rudy Purwanto, Coordinator at YMCA of Greater Toronto, as the main speaker. In an engaging session, he shared his career journey and offered practical advice on building a strong professional portfolio and network — two essential elements for anyone aspiring to work abroad.
Participants gained new insights on how local experiences can serve as stepping stones to global opportunities. He also emphasized the importance of consistency, stepping out of one’s comfort zone, and making the most of opportunities within international communities.
This activity is part of BMLDL’s ongoing efforts to equip students with a global perspective and practical skills relevant to today’s job market.
