Tangerang, May 16, 2025 – The Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) Serpong Campus once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the character development of young generations through a Community Service activity held at SMK Strada Daan Mogot, Tangerang City. This activity was presented in the form of a motivational and self-development seminar titled “Leadership Mindset: Your Key to Success in Work and Life”, which took place on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 08:00 to 11:30 AM, attended by 11 students from Grade XI.
The seminar featured Mr. Chandra Hosen, S.E., M.M., M.T., lecturer and practitioner from Universitas Bunda Mulia, as the main speaker. He was accompanied by Matthew Gilbert Susanto, an active student from the UBM Management Study Program, who also shared his experiences and provided leadership perspectives from a young generation’s point of view.
This activity aimed to instill a leadership mindset in vocational high school students from an early age as preparation for entering the workforce and becoming responsible members of society. The materials delivered included an understanding of leadership as a character trait and way of thinking, the importance of initiative, personal responsibility, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
The seminar was conducted in an interactive and communicative atmosphere, where participants not only listened to the presentation but also actively engaged in discussions, answered questions, and shared their personal experiences. The materials were presented in an inspiring yet accessible manner, highly relevant to today’s youth.
This activity is part of Universitas Bunda Mulia’s regular Community Service Program, which aims to make a real contribution to the field of education, particularly in developing the character and soft skills of secondary school students. Through this activity, UBM hopes to support the improvement of SMK graduates’ quality not only in technical aspects but also in mental readiness, attitude, and leadership potential.
