Jakarta, February 20, 2025 – In response to the employment challenges of the globalization era and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Universitas Bunda Mulia organized a community service activity themed “Addressing the Challenges of Future Skilled Labor Demand.” This event featured two speakers who are also lecturers at Universitas Bunda Mulia: Dr. Temy Setiawan, S.E., M.Ak., M.Th., Ak., CA., CIBA, CPMA, CSRS, CertDA, AseanCPA, and Theresia Olivia, S.E., M.Ak, who shared insights and solutions to prepare a skilled and adaptable young generation, particularly in the field of accounting.
This activity served as a form of community service aimed at providing education on improving workforce skills, especially in accounting and other relevant competencies aligned with current industry needs. The event was organized by Mahir Akuntansi in collaboration with SMKN 6 – South Jakarta, involving principals and vocational school teachers from across DKI Jakarta Province. The main speakers, Dr. Temy Setiawan and Theresia Olivia, brought professional and academic expertise in accounting.
The event was held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, onsite at SMKN 6 – South Jakarta, with participants including principals and vocational school teachers from the DKI Jakarta Province. The primary goal of the event was to address the skills gap among the workforce in the digital era, particularly among the younger generation. Through proper education and training, the community is expected to develop skills aligned with the demands of modern industries, such as information technology, AI, IoT, and digital accounting systems.
The activity took the form of a seminar and interactive discussion, where participants received direct insights from experts and had opportunities to engage in discussions and explore the application of these skills in real-world work environments.
