As part of a strong commitment to enhancing student competitiveness in the digital era, the Distance Learning Management Study Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) Ancol successfully organized an international certification training titled “HubSpot Academy: Digital Marketing” on Saturday, May 24, 2025, conducted online via Zoom.

This program aimed to equip students with practical skills and insights in digital marketing, particularly through the internationally recognized platform HubSpot Academy, a global provider of certified digital training programs based in the United States. The training was also designed to support the development of students’ digital literacy and adaptability in response to the rapid evolution of technology-driven marketing industries.

Throughout the session, participants received intensive training on key aspects of digital marketing. By completing the program, students were allowed to earn an official certification from HubSpot Academy, adding value to their professional profiles and strengthening their competitiveness in the job market. The training was attended by 11 active students from the Distance Learning Management Study Program, and was enthusiastically received. According to Very Budiyanto, S.M., MSE, a faculty member of the Management Study Program at UBM, “This initiative not only provides students with relevant industry-based competencies but also aligns with our vision to foster globally minded graduates who are prepared to face the challenges of the modern digital economy.”

This training marks a strategic step by the Distance Learning Management students in creating a globally oriented and industry-relevant learning environment. It is hoped that through this initiative, UBM students—particularly from the Management Study Program—will gain greater confidence in building careers in digital marketing and become competitive at both national and international levels.
