Tangerang, May 22, 2025 – iCare UBM Serpong Campus carried out one of its off-campus activities, namely a Visit to a Disability Care Home, on May 22, 2025. The visit was held under the theme “Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges: Embracing Abilities, Empowering Lives” and took place at the Hall of the Karawaci Baru Subdistrict Office. The event began with an opening by the MC, followed by welcoming remarks from the Subdistrict Head and the event chairperson.

Next, there was a tote bag painting session and group singing, led by the Event Division, as a means of self-expression and to bring benefits to the participants from the Yayasan Difabel Mandiri Indonesia (YDMI). The tote bag painting session was not only designed to create a fun and spirited atmosphere, but also served as a medium for the participants to express their inner feelings through colors and images.

The event then continued with the presentation of aid to Yayasan Difabel Mandiri Indonesia (YDMI) by the event chairperson, as well as the distribution of gift packages to the participants as a form of support and care. After that, the MC closed the event with words of thanks to everyone who participated, followed by a communal meal. Through this Disability Visit activity, we hope to foster a greater sense of compassion, attention, and empathy. May the togetherness and experiences gained from this visit inspire all of us to continue sharing and caring for one another.
