Jakarta, May 27, 2025 – The Student Activity Unit iCare of Bunda Mulia University Ancol Campus held a social service activity by visiting the Karena Kasih Orphanage, located in Sunter Agung, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, on May 17, 2025.
The event began with an opening by the MC, followed by warm greetings from the representative of the organizing committee (PIC) and Ms. Lismida, representing Karena Kasih Orphanage. The joyful atmosphere began with a performance of the song and dance “Tanam-Tanam Ubi” by the committee, which was warmly welcomed by the children.
After the performance, the committee invited the children to participate in a statue painting activity. This was guided with warmth and enthusiasm, creating a joyful and memorable moment together. The activity continued with a breaktime session, where the children and committee members enjoyed meals together in a friendly and family-like setting.
Following the break, the children were divided into three groups to participate in a series of fun games such as Blow the Glass, Blow and Stack, and Ping Pong Relay. The fastest group to complete the challenges was declared the winner, but all the children received prizes as a form of appreciation and to foster togetherness.
The joy continued with a group sing-along of the song “Pesawat Kertas” by JKT48, where the children and committee members formed a circle and flew paper planes together as a symbol of hope and dreams. This was followed by a “Dreams” session, where the children lined up and shared their aspirations one by one in front of the camera.
As an act of compassion, iCare Bunda Mulia University also handed over a donation, symbolically presented by the PIC to a representative of the orphanage. The donation included rice, sugar, tea, snacks, and cooking oil.
The event concluded with a group photo of all committee members and the children of Karena Kasih Orphanage, followed by an official closing by the MC.
