On Friday, April 25, 2025, the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia carried out a Community Service (PKM) activity. This community service activity was held face-to-face in the Hall of SMK Negeri 2 Jakarta Pusat from 09:00 to 11:00 WIB. The activity took the theme “Tips for Developing Hard Skills & Soft Skills” presented by Mrs. Novita, SE, M.Si., and assisted by a student named Livia Evangelina Florencia.
This community service activity was attended by 91 prospective graduates of SMK Negeri 2 Jakarta Pusat who were awaiting the official graduation announcement. The activity was held with the aim of providing tips on developing hard skills and soft skills that prospective graduates will need to enter the workforce. The event began with an opening and explanation about career decisions through education, training, and work paths that prospective graduates will undertake in the future. This decision is very important because it illustrates how a prospective graduate achieves career goals. To compete and succeed in an increasingly competitive job market, prospective graduates need to develop two main types of skills: soft skills (interpersonal and personality skills) and hard skills (technical abilities). Hard skills enable Gen Z to master knowledge, technology, and technical skills, while soft skills prepare them to interact, communicate, and collaborate effectively.

The event continued with a question-and-answer session enthusiastically welcomed by the participants. The participants were very eager to gain new perspectives and tips related to the hard skills and soft skills needed in the workplace. Mrs. Novita gave 10 souvenirs to the students who actively participated in this activity.
With the implementation of this community service activity, it is hoped that all prospective graduates of SMK Negeri 2 Jakarta Pusat will be able to develop the academic abilities (hard skills) and values (soft skills) needed to achieve success in the workforce.
