Jakarta, May 16, 2025 – The Student Activity Unit (UKM) Talent of Bunda Mulia University (UBM) successfully held its first-ever MCU Training Camp #1 on May 3–4, 2025 at Hotel Rudian, Cisarua, Bogor. With the theme “Empowering Your Voice: Building Confidence, Creativity, and Community,” this event aimed to enhance public speaking skills, build self-confidence, stimulate creativity, and foster a strong, supportive student community.
Upon arrival at the hotel, participants immediately joined the first session led by Ci Maria, an accomplished MCU alumna with extensive experience as a Master of Ceremony. She shared foundational MC knowledge, practical tips, and motivated participants to speak confidently in public.

After a shared lunch, the second session was delivered by Sir Suryanto, M.I.Kom, a lecturer from the Communication Studies Program and a renowned professional MC. He discussed effective public communication techniques, emphasizing honesty and transparency in delivering messages. The participants were enthusiastic and actively engaged in discussion throughout the session.
Later in the afternoon, participants were given time to draft their own MC scripts, which they then presented during the simulation session. Each performance received constructive feedback from facilitators and fellow participants, creating a positive and supportive learning environment.

In the evening, the atmosphere became even warmer during the campfire and bonding night. Fun games and an activity where participants wrote motivational letters to one another helped strengthen their emotional connections and foster camaraderie.
The second day began with outbound activities that challenged participants to work in teams. Various exciting games tested their communication, collaboration, and creativity. The event concluded with a group lunch, awarding prizes to the best team, and a final briefing before returning to campus.

Through MCU Training Camp #1, we hope to continue organizing even better and more regular training programs in the future. We sincerely thank the BKM team for their continuous support from start to finish, as well as all committee members who worked hard to ensure the success of this event.
