Jakarta, January 20, 2025 – The Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) Ancol Campus once again demonstrated its commitment to improving financial literacy among the younger generation through a community service activity (PKM) held at the UBM Ancol Campus. The event was attended by students from SMK Pancaran Berkat who were on a campus tour. Starting at 9:00 AM, the event began with a presentation by Mr. Elkunny Dovir Siratan, S.Par., MM, a lecturer from the Management Study Program, who explained the basics of stock investment and the capital market in a concise and easily understandable manner.
After the presentation session, participants were divided into five teams to take part in a stock investment simulation using the educational game Stocklab, facilitated by five active students from the Management Study Program at UBM Ancol Campus: Sylvia, Cindy Martadina, Kayleen Mieko Torhuta, Kasappa Lotandy, and Sheva Ariani Putri. The simulation was lively, with the winners from each table competing again to determine the final champion. The event ran smoothly and was met with great enthusiasm from participants, who had the opportunity to understand stock investment concepts in an engaging and interactive way.
Through this community service activity, Universitas Bunda Mulia successfully provided a significant learning experience for high school students about the world of investment. Using an innovative approach through the Stocklab game, participants gained an understanding of basic capital market terms and concepts in a fun way. This event also served as UBM’s contribution to supporting the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi), particularly in community service, and promoted financial literacy from an early age among the younger generation.
