“Entrepreneur” was the theme chosen by the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia for the Community Service (PKM) activity held at SMA Bunda Hati Kudus Cibubur. This event was conducted onsite on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, and Wednesday, March 6, 2024, starting at 08:30 AM WIB and concluding at 2:00 PM WIB. The activity took the form of a seminar divided into two sessions, each led by a different speaker: Mr. Elkunny S.Par., M.M. and Mr. Yustinus Yuniarto, SS., M.M. Students who assisted in the PKM included Ivenna Jovita Rumayar (12220065), Alfaro Diaz (12230183), Kevin Wang (12230265), and Roy Candra (12220111), representing members of the Excellent Community of Management (XCM).
On both days, Tuesday, March 5, 2024, and Wednesday, March 6, 2024, the event ran smoothly and consistently. The seminar began after the students of SMA Bunda Hati Kudus Cibubur gathered in the main hall with the expected attendance number. Subsequently, Mr. Elkunny Dovir Siratan, S.Par., M.M., and Mr. Yustinus Yuniarto, SS., M.M., presented their material to the students. The discussion began with an overview of business opportunities followed by the Business Model Canvas (BMC) as the main topic. Each of the nine (9) components of the Business Model Canvas was explained in detail, accompanied by simple examples. This was followed by a Q&A session where students showed enthusiasm through their sharp questions, with some of them already having family businesses.
The seminar included a break session and resumed with the implementation and application phase of the Business Model Canvas (BMC) material. Students were divided into groups, each designing a product. During this phase, Mr. Elkunny Dovir Siratan, S.Par., M.M., and Mr. Yustinus Yuniarto, SS., M.M., along with the student representatives from the Excellent Community of Management (XCM), provided guidance and feedback.
The activity continued with a presentation session where each group presented their product designs to the speakers, who evaluated the work and offered suggestions for improvement. After all sessions concluded, it was evident that the PKM activity was well-received with positive enthusiasm from the students of SMA Bunda Hati Kudus Cibubur.
It is hoped that the material presented by the speakers will benefit the students by broadening their understanding of the business world and assisting those interested in starting or delving deeper into entrepreneurship.
