Through Mandarin language courses, students are given the opportunity to learn the language according to international standards (HSK). This includes oral and written communication skills, applying the necessary cultural elements in communication, and translating spoken material from Indonesian to Mandarin and vice versa. Additionally, students study the linguistic aspects, culture, and current issues in Indonesia and China.
The Bachelor’s program in Mandarin at Universitas Bunda Mulia has been established since 2008. The curriculum is designed to allow students to choose specializations based on their interests, whether in business, education, or media.

Students learn Mandarin language skills and the necessary knowledge in business and management to prepare for work in international companies and banks.

Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language
Students study Mandarin language knowledge (phonetics, vocabulary, grammar, language skills), design learning processes, and develop teaching skills in Mandarin to be able to work in formal and informal educational institutions.

The Student Organization of the Mandarin Language Program at UBM is called the Chinese Language Community (CLC), operating under the program’s umbrella. This organization serves as a platform for students to develop leadership skills and participate in various beneficial activities.
The range of activities organized by the student community includes industry visits, student seminars, cultural festivals, summer/winter camps, Mandarin language competitions, cultural classes, soft skills training, and much more.
