Graduate School Faculty Members of Bunda Mulia University, Dr. Rewindinar, M.Si, along with students Clara Agnesia Herlambang and Jessica Firenza, carried out a Community Engagement activity on Friday, August 11, 2023, at SMK St. Joseph. Dozens of male and female students attending school in the Central Jakarta area enthusiastically participated in the event. Creative writing skills in the digital era were imparted to participants from three departments at the school: multimedia, mechanical engineering, and motorcycle engineering.
“I enjoy writing, and I’m glad today I could learn and directly practice with the piece I created,” expressed one student who attended the workshop and has an interest in food reviewing.
Through explanations, group discussions, Q&A sessions, and interactive games that kept the activity dynamic, all participants remained engaged until the end of the event. The efforts of this activity, as part of Community Engagement, aim to prepare students who will eventually pursue careers in the field of communication, including becoming proficient journalists through creative writing in the digital era.
