By Axel Samuel Gianaldy (Communication Science Student of UBM Serpong Campus, 2021 Batch) – On Monday, (12/12/2022) at 11:30 am, the Communication Science Study Program of UBM Serpong Campus successfully held a Tentier for the IKC04 course – Quantitative Communication Research Method. This Tentier class was attended by 11 participants and was conducted on-site.
In this Tentier class on Quantitative Communication Research Method, Dr. Adde Oriza Rio, S.Sos., M.Si played an active role in teaching quantitative research methods. One of the topics he taught was how to test validity, test reliability, types of variables, and question scales for quantitative methods. Validity and reliability testing is done to calculate the number of variables and data in a question.

Although the Tentier was held before the final exams, the students remained active in following the series of events. The preparation from this Tentier class is expected to help provide additional preparation for the students to pass the final exams and increase their knowledge and benefits in quantitative research. In addition, this knowledge can be useful as preparation for future researchers who take this course for their thesis.
