Semiloka Dosen: Menyongsong Dampak AI terhadap Pendidikan Masa Depan // Faculty of Technology and Design Holds Seminar on the Future Impact of Artificial Intelligence in Education

Perkembangan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) membawa transformasi signifikan dalam berbagai sektor, termasuk sektor pendidikan. Untuk menjawab tantangan dan peluang dari kemajuan ini, Fakultas Teknologi dan Desain Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) menyelenggarakan Semiloka Dosen bertema “The Future Impact of Artificial Intelligence in Education” pada hari Selasa, 20 Mei 2025, pukul 13.00–15.00 WIB di Ruang M1, UBM Tower Kampus Serpong. Kegiatan ini menghadirkan pembicara internasional Prof. Bo An dari Nanyang Technological University, Singapura, yang dikenal atas kontribusinya dalam bidang AI, khususnya pada penerapannya dalam sistem pengambilan keputusan dan edukasi.
Dengan diikuti oleh 50 dosen dari Kampus Ancol dan Serpong, semiloka ini menjadi wadah refleksi dan kolaborasi lintas program studi dalam menghadapi era disrupsi teknologi. Para dosen diajak untuk memahami secara mendalam bagaimana AI berpotensi mengubah metode pengajaran, pola pembelajaran mahasiswa, serta desain kurikulum masa depan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat kesiapan institusi pendidikan tinggi dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi AI secara kritis, strategis, dan etis demi pengembangan kualitas pendidikan di masa mendatang.

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought significant changes across various sectors, including education. In response to these challenges and opportunities, the Faculty of Technology and Design at Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) organized a faculty seminar titled “The Future Impact of Artificial Intelligence in Education”on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 13:00 to 15:00 WIB at Room M1, UBM Tower, Serpong Campus. This seminar featured Prof. Bo An from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, a renowned expert in the field of AI, particularly in decision-making systems and educational applications.
Attended by 50 lecturers from both Ancol and Serpong campuses, the event served as a collaborative platform for cross-disciplinary reflection on the transformative role of AI in shaping the future of education. The discussion focused on how AI can influence teaching methods, student learning patterns, and curriculum design. The seminar aims to strengthen the academic community’s readiness in integrating AI into higher education in a critical, strategic, and ethical manner—ensuring the advancement of educational quality in the era of technological disruption.
