Oleh Clara Chyntia Boen dan Cassandra Geraldine Felani (Mahasiswi Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi Angkatan 2024 & 2025) – Jumat (13/02), Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Bunda Mulia Serpong (COMRADE) sukses menggelar kegiatan kunjungan industri bertajuk, “CLOVER: Corporate Learning & Onsite Visit Experience Research”. Kegiatan ini berlangsung di kantor PT. Kurnia Ciptamoda Gemilang pada pukul 11.00 – 17.00 WIB dengan melibatkan 34 mahasiswa aktif dari angkatan 2023 hingga 2025.
By Clara Chyntia Boen and Cassandra Geraldine Felani (Communication Studies students, Class of 2024 & 2025) – On Friday (13/02), the Student Association of the Communication Studies Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia Serpong (COMRADE) successfully to conduct an industrial visit program titled “CLOVER: Corporate Learning & Onsite Visit Experience Research.” The activity took place at the office of PT. Kurnia Ciptamoda Gemilang from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM (WIB), involving 34 active students from the 2023 to 2025 cohorts.
Program CLOVER dirancang sebagai jembatan bagi mahasiswa untuk menyelaraskan teori yang dipelajari di bangku perkuliahan dengan praktik nyata di dunia professional. Selama kunjungan, para peserta diberikan insight menarik mengenai strategi marketing hingga diajak untuk melihat secara langsung operasional perusahaan retail ternama di Indonesia tersebut.
The CLOVER program was designed as a bridge for students to align the theories learned in the classroom with real-world professional practices. During the visit, participants gained valuable insights into marketing strategies and were also invited to directly observe the operations of one of Indonesia’s leading retail companies.
Acara dibuka dengan sambutan hangat dari pihak KCG yang dipandu oleh Master of Ceremony (MC), menciptakan suasana interaktif sejak awal sesi. Memasuki agenda utama, Ibu Anggelia Indah Berliana memberikan pemaparan komprehensif mengenai profil dan sejarah dari KCG. Terungkap bahwa saat ini KCG telah mengoperasikan 104 toko di seluruh Indonesia yang menaungi 5 brand ternama, yaitu Charles & Keith, Pedro, Pomelo, EA7, dan Armani Exchange.
The event began with a warm welcome from the KCG team, guided by the Master of Ceremony (MC), creating an interactive atmosphere from the very beginning. Entering the main agenda, Ms. Anggelia Indah Berliana delivered a comprehensive presentation on the profile and history of KCG. It was revealed that KCG currently operates 104 stores across Indonesia, overseeing five well-known brands: Charles & Keith, Pedro, Pomelo, EA7, and Armani Exchange.

Dalam sesi tersebut, Ibu Anggelia menekankan filosofi utama perusahaan: “KCG harus menjadi solusi dari setiap permasalahan pembeli.” Prinsip inilah yang menjadi fondasi strategi marketing mereka, di mana komunikasi bukan sekedar menjual produk, namun membangun kredibilitas yang nyata bagi para pelanggan.
During the session, Mrs. Anggelia emphasized the company’s core philosophy: “KCG must be the solution to every customer’s problem.” This principle serves as the foundation of their marketing strategy, where communication is not merely about selling products, but about building genuine credibility with customers.
Sebagai nilai tambah bagi mahasiswa, sebelum beranjak ke sesi tinjauan lapangan, Ibu Tanti memberikan sesi khusus mengenai tips internship. Sesi ini dirancang untuk membekali mahasiswa dengan persiapan mental dan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan saat memasuki dunia kerja profesional melalui program magang. Agenda kemudian dilanjutkan dengan diskusi tanya jawab yang antusias serta pemberian Token of Appreciation (ToA) kepada pihak perusahaan.
As an added value for the students, before proceeding to the field observation session, Mrs. Tanti delivered a special session on internship tips. This session was designed to equip students with the mental preparation and competencies needed when entering the professional world through internship programs. The agenda then continued with an enthusiastic Q&A discussion, followed by the presentation of a Token of Appreciation (ToA) to the company.

Tak hanya terpaku pada teori, peserta CLOVER juga diajak melakukan office tour untuk melihat kondisi lapangan operasional KCG. Mahasiswa berkesempatan bertemu langsung dengan Bapak Paulus dari bagian Supply Chain, yang menjelaskan mengenai Warehouse Management System. Beliau memaparkan dinamika arus barang per hari mencapai 10.000 hingga 15.000 unit inbound serta 6.000 hingga 10.000 unit outbound. Proses inbound sendiri mencakup barang impor langsung dari prinsipal di Singapura dan Italia, hingga manajemen barang retur.
Not only focused on theory, CLOVER participants were also invited to take part in an office tour to observe KCG’s operational field conditions firsthand. Students had the opportunity to meet Mr. Paulus from the Supply Chain division, who explained the Warehouse Management System. He described the daily flow of goods, which reaches 10,000 to 15,000 inbound units and 6,000 to 10,000 outbound units. The inbound process itself includes imported goods directly from principals in Singapore and Italy, as well as the management of returned items.
Kunjungan diakhiri dengan meninjau Retail Academy, sebuah fasilitas pelatihan khusus di mana para karyawan KCG dilatih secara intensif mengenai teknik pelayanan dan operasional toko untuk menjaga standar kualitas pelayanan di seluruh gerai.
The visit concluded with a tour of the Retail Academy, a dedicated training facility where KCG employees are intensively trained in service techniques and store operations to maintain consistent service quality across all outlets.
Program CLOVER ini diharapkan dapat menyelaraskan pemahaman teori mahasiswa dengan realitas industri retail skala internasional, sekaligus memberikan gambaran nyata mengenai ekosistem kerja professional yang dinamis.
The CLOVER program is expected to align students’ theoretical understanding with the realities of the international-scale retail industry, while also providing a clear picture of a dynamic professional work ecosystem.
