UBM Presents External Seminar: PKM: “Ethics & Anti-Bullying in Social Media: Digital Smart, Digital Kind, Digital Strong” Jakarta – Bunda Mulia University (UBM) through its Community Service (PKM) activity successfully held an External Seminar held at SMP Negeri 96 Jakarta. This activity aims to provide education to students about ethics in social media and raise awareness of the dangers of bullying in the digital world. With the theme “Ethics & Anti-Bullying in Social Media: Digital Smart, Digital Kind, Digital Strong,” this seminar aims to provide students with an understanding of the importance of using social media wisely, responsibly, and respecting others. In today’s digital era, social media has become part of students’ daily lives, making understanding digital ethics very important. In the seminar session, the speaker explained the impact of cyberbullying, the importance of maintaining digital footprints, and steps that students can take to create a safe, positive, and respectful digital environment. Students were also encouraged to become a digital generation that is not only smart in using technology, but also has empathy and responsibility. This activity was attended by students and teachers of SMP Negeri 96 Jakarta who showed high enthusiasm throughout the event. Interactive discussion sessions between speakers and participants made the seminar run interesting, where students were able to share experiences, ask questions, and understand how to respond to negative behavior on social media. Through this PKM activity, Bunda Mulia University again demonstrated its commitment to making a real contribution to society, especially in equipping the younger generation with an understanding of ethics and responsibility in the digital world. This activity is also in line with UBM’s spirit of “Bridging Education To The Real World.”
