Hi Biemers!
Universitas Bunda Mulia proudly hosted CONDIVISION 2025, International Conference on Digital Innovation and Business Transformation, an international forum connecting global thought leaders, academics, and industry experts to discuss the evolving landscape of business and leadership in the digital era. The event took place on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at The UBM Lecture Hall, 5th Floor, Alfa Tower, UBM Serpong Campus.
This year’s CONDIVISION was made possible through the strong collaboration between Universitas Bunda Mulia and distinguished co-hosts: National Chung Cheng University, International Association of Contemporary Researchers, President University, Matana University, Universitas Nusa Cendana, Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, Universitas Pembangunan Jaya, UPH Faculty of Economics and Business, and Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Their collective support enriched the conference with diverse academic perspectives and strengthened international academic ties.
“Congratulations to Universitas Bunda Mulia International on the success of CONDIVISION, its Conference on Digital Innovation and Business Transformation. It discussed important and topical issues. These issues are vital to consider in Indonesia because most jobs in Indonesia will be changed by Artificial Intelligence (AI)!” said Prof. Greg J. Bamber after the event.
The speech by keynote speaker Prof. Greg J. Bamber, Monash University, Australia, helped CONDIVISION participants to distinguish between the rhetoric and the realities of AI. He said, “The rhetoric from the techies, innovators and salespeople may be very different from the realities for the people who are impacted including managers, workers, academics, students, customers and the wider society. AI may be used to replace jobs and invade the privacy of such stakeholders. They and, if appropriate, their unions and associations should have a ‘voice’ in how AI is to be used. Governments should be regulating the uses of AI in the interests of ordinary people and the wider society. Governments should not give ‘free rein’ to the techies and innovators!”
The second keynote session was delivered by Prof. Dr. Bella Ya-Hui Lien, Dean of the College of Management at National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan, on “Organizational Resilience and Resilient Leadership.” Prof. Lien highlighted the shift from the past SCSC era (Stable, Certain, Simple, Clarity) to today’s VUCA era (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity), where leaders must be adaptable, agile, and resilient. Drawing on global research and industry examples, she emphasized the importance of business resilience across strategic, operational, financial, and reputational dimensions. “By embracing digital transformation, we unite innovation, technology, and responsibility into every aspect of business to create a sustainable future,” she affirmed, underlining that resilient leaders are not only capable of navigating crises but also of empowering teams, fostering trust, and turning challenges into opportunities for growth.
Afternoon sessions featured Panel Sessions A and B, where researchers and practitioners from various universities and industries presented studies on digital transformation, leadership, and innovation strategies. These sessions encouraged rich discussion, networking, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
With engaging presentations, interactive Q&A, and active participation from both local and international attendees, CONDIVISION 2025 successfully bridged academic insights with practical strategies, inspiring participants to build sustainable, future-ready organizations.
Day 2 of CONDIVISION 2025 – International Conference on Digital Innovation and Business Transformation took place on Friday, August 15, 2025, at The UBM Lecture Hall, 5th Floor, Alfa Tower, UBM Serpong Campus, continuing the momentum of inspiring discussions and collaborative learning.
The day began with an opening session including the National Anthem, UBM Anthem, and a musical performance by VOU, setting a positive and vibrant tone for the conference.
The first keynote seminar was delivered by Elvia Shauki, Ph.D., with the theme “Sustainable Performance Metrics: The Evolution of Financial Reporting in a Digital and Green Economy.” Dr. Shauki shared her reflections on her first visit to Universitas Bunda Mulia, saying:
“I am truly honoured to have been invited by Universitas Bunda Mulia. This was my first visit to the University, and I was deeply impressed by its strong commitment to prioritising the well-being of both the planet and its people—values consistently championed by the Alfamart Group, the foundation behind the University.
I could genuinely feel the energy, courage, and motivation that emerged from the discussions—both from the academic staff and the students. We explored important themes such as leadership, tone at the top, commitment, and performance measurement during the CONDIVISION Conference 2025.
I sincerely wish the entire academic community and students of Universitas Bunda Mulia continued success in collectively advancing our shared global commitments to protecting the planet, empowering people, fostering partnerships, and sustaining peace as part of the SDGs.”
Her keynote emphasized the evolving role of financial reporting in advancing sustainability while ensuring accountability and alignment with global sustainable development goals.
The second keynote seminar featured Kandi Sofia S. Dahlan, who spoke on “Leadership Strategies for Managing Sustainable Innovation in a Disruptive Business Landscape.” Her session highlighted the importance of visionary leadership in navigating rapid business changes while ensuring sustainability and resilience in innovation practices.
The seminar series was followed by an engaging Q&A session, where participants actively exchanged ideas and perspectives with the keynote speakers. The program also included a second performance by VOU, adding a cultural and celebratory element to the day.
