



Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) Kampus Serpong melalui Program Studi Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV) menyelenggarakan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) bertajuk “Pelatihan Dubbing Iklan” pada Sabtu, 31 Januari 2026. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 10 siswa dari SMK Tarsisius Vireta, yang dilaksanakan di ruang TUSD, Alfa Tower lantai 6, Universitas Bunda Mulia Kampus Serpong.
Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk melatih teknik-teknik dalam proses dubbing, serta memberikan pengalaman nyata kepada peserta bagaimana proses dubbing itu dilakukan pada dunia profesional. Dalam pelatihan, siswa dibimbing oleh pembawa materi, yaitu dosen program studi Desain Komunikasi Visual; Jimmy, S.Ds., M.Sn., dan Hendi Thamrin, S.Ds., M.M., C.CC., serta didampingi oleh mahasiswa Desain Komunikasi Visual sebagai fasilitator kegiatan.
Pelatihan dibagi ke dalam dua bagian: bagian latihan dan rekaman. Fase latihan adalah fase dimana seluruh peserta akan melatih teknik-teknik dubbing, serta diberikan arahan agar potensi dubbing lebih terlihat, sedangkan fase rekaman adalah fase dimana seluruh peserta akan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, dimana setiap kelompoknya akan melakukan proses rekaman iklan yang telah dilatih sebelumnya. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya melatih keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga memperkenalkan dunia dubbing secara profesional kepada seluruh peserta, serta menumbuhkan minat terhadap bidang industri dan Desain Komunikasi Visual.
Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) Serpong Campus, through the Visual Communication Design (VCD) Study Program, organized a Community Service Program (CSP) activity titled “Advertising Dubbing Training” on Saturday, January 31st, 2026. The activity was attended by 10 students from SMK Tarsisius Vireta and was held in the TUSD room, 6th floor of Alfa Tower, Universitas Bunda Mulia Serpong Campus.
The training aimed to develop techniques involved in the dubbing process and to provide participants with hands-on experience of how dubbing is carried out in a professional setting. During the session, students were guided by the instructors, lecturers from the Visual Communication Design Study Program: Jimmy, S.Ds., M.Sn., and Hendi Thamrin, S.Ds., M.M., C.CC., and were assisted by Visual Communication Design students who acted as facilitators.
The training was divided into two parts: the practice session and the recording session. The practice phase was when all participants trained in dubbing techniques and received guidance to better showcase their dubbing potential. The recording phase involved dividing the participants into two groups, with each group performing a recording of the advertisement they had previously practiced. This activity not only developed technical skills but also introduced participants to the professional world of dubbing and fostered interest in the industry and the field of Visual Communication Design.
