Jakarta, June 4, 2026, A warm atmosphere and the rich aroma of coffee welcomed participants to the Coffee Making Class: “Coffee Craft Experience – Learn, Brew, and Create”, organized by Universitas Bunda Mulia through BM Class on June 4, 2026, at The UBM Resto, Ancol Campus. Attended by 10 participants, the program offered an engaging learning experience that not only introduced the theoretical foundations of coffee but also provided opportunities for hands-on practice in various brewing and coffee-making techniques.
Throughout the event, participants were guided through the journey of coffee from bean to cup during the Fundamental Coffee Knowledge session. Led by Prayogo Susanto, S.Par., M.Par., the session expanded participants’ understanding of coffee varieties, processing methods, and the factors that influence flavor profiles. Participants’ enthusiasm grew even further during the Espresso & Extraction session, followed by Milk Science & Latte Practice, where they learned milk preparation techniques and gained practical experience creating espresso-based beverages. The program concluded with Manual Brew Essentials, allowing participants to explore manual brewing methods while understanding the key variables that affect the quality and taste of a cup of coffee.
The learning experience received positive feedback from participants. One student from the Information Systems Study Program shared that the class was highly engaging because the topics covered were diverse, practical, and directly applicable. Meanwhile, a Communication Studies student highlighted the opportunity to learn and practice making four different coffee beverages as the most memorable part of the training.
Similar feedback was expressed by an external participant, who appreciated the entire program and described the experience as both enjoyable and insightful. According to the participant, the class provided a deeper understanding of the world of coffee while maintaining a fun and interactive atmosphere. Through this Coffee Making Class, participants not only gained new skills in crafting coffee beverages but also broadened their perspectives on opportunities within the ever-growing food and beverage industry.
Jakarta, 4 Juni, 2026, Suasana hangat dan aroma kopi yang khas menyambut para peserta Coffee Making Class: “Coffee Craft Experience – Learn, Brew, and Create” yang diselenggarakan Universitas Bunda Mulia melalui BM Class pada 4 Juni 2026 di The UBM Resto, Kampus Ancol. Diikuti oleh 10 peserta, kegiatan ini menghadirkan pengalaman belajar yang tidak hanya memperkenalkan dunia kopi dari sisi teori, tetapi juga memberikan kesempatan untuk mencoba langsung berbagai teknik penyeduhan dan pembuatan minuman berbasis kopi.

Selama kegiatan berlangsung, peserta diajak memahami perjalanan kopi dari biji hingga menjadi minuman yang siap dinikmati melalui sesi Fundamental Coffee Knowledge. Materi yang dibawakan oleh Prayogo Susanto, S.Par., M.Par. membuka wawasan peserta mengenai jenis kopi, proses pengolahan, serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi karakter rasa. Antusiasme peserta semakin terlihat saat memasuki sesi Espresso & Extraction, dilanjutkan dengan Milk Science & Latte Practice, di mana peserta mempelajari teknik pengolahan susu dan mencoba membuat minuman berbasis espresso. Kegiatan kemudian ditutup dengan Manual Brew Essentials yang memberikan pengalaman praktik menggunakan metode seduh manual dengan memperhatikan berbagai faktor yang memengaruhi hasil akhir secangkir kopi.

Pengalaman belajar yang diperoleh peserta mendapat respons positif. Salah satu mahasiswa Program Studi Sistem Informasi menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini terasa sangat menarik karena materi yang diberikan beragam, aplikatif, dan dapat langsung dipraktikkan. Sementara itu, mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi mengungkapkan bahwa kesempatan untuk mempelajari serta mempraktikkan pembuatan empat jenis minuman kopi menjadi pengalaman yang paling berkesan selama pelatihan berlangsung.

Kesan serupa juga datang dari peserta eksternal yang mengapresiasi keseluruhan rangkaian acara. Menurutnya, kegiatan berlangsung dengan sangat menyenangkan dan memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai dunia kopi. Melalui Coffee Making Class ini, peserta tidak hanya memperoleh keterampilan baru dalam meracik minuman, tetapi juga mendapatkan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif sekaligus membuka wawasan mengenai peluang di industri food and beverage yang terus berkembang.
