Learning Mandarin Becomes More Exciting, Upgrade Your Language Skills Through the “Learn Mandarin Through Viral Chinese Short Dramas” Workshop with BM Academy
Jakarta, August 20, 2026 — In response to the challenges of globalization and the growing need to enhance the competitiveness of young people in the professional world, BM Academy, in collaboration with the Alumni Career & Center of Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM), is once again presenting an educational training program entitled Workshop Enhancement Executive Program (EEP).
Addressing a topic that is highly relevant to today’s digital media trends, “Learn Mandarin Through Viral Chinese Short Dramas,” this workshop is specially designed for students, alumni, and the general public who wish to improve their Mandarin skills through a practical and interactive learning experience without the rigid feel of conventional language classes.
Through this program, participants will explore vocabulary, various grammatical structures, and everyday expressions based on Chinese short dramas that are currently trending across social media platforms. The interactive training session will be led by Delwyn Kosmon, B.Ed., M.TCSOL, a lecturer in the Mandarin Language Study Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia.
By incorporating popular culture into language learning, this approach makes learning a foreign language easier to understand while helping participants develop a more natural feel for the language in an enjoyable and engaging way. The EEP workshop will be held online via Google Meet on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. WIB (Western Indonesia Time).
In addition to gaining new knowledge and skills, all participants who attend the workshop will receive several exclusive benefits, including an official e-certificate, free access to training materials along with practical tips and tricks, and 2.0 Non-Academic Student Activity Record (SAR) Points, which are particularly beneficial for active UBM students. Mengangkat topik yang sangat relevan dengan tren media digital saat ini, yaitu “Learn Mandarin Through Viral Chinese Short Dramas”, workshop ini dirancang khusus untuk memfasilitasi mahasiswa, alumni, hingga masyarakat umum yang ingin mengasah keterampilan Bahasa Mandarin dengan cara yang praktis, interaktif, dan jauh dari kesan kaku.
Melalui program ini, para peserta diajak membedah kosakata, ragam tata bahasa, serta ekspresi harian berbasis tayangan Chinese Short Dramas yang tengah viral di berbagai media sosial. Sesi pelatihan interaktif ini akan dipandu secara langsung oleh pakar di bidangnya, yaitu Bapak Delwyn Kosmon, B.Ed., M.TCSOL, selaku Dosen Program Studi Bahasa Mandarin Universitas Bunda Mulia. Melalui pendekatan berbasis budaya populer ini, pembelajaran bahasa asing tidak hanya menjadi lebih mudah dipahami, tetapi juga memberikan intuisi berbahasa yang lebih natural serta menyenangkan bagi para pembelajar.
Kegiatan workshop EEP ini akan diselenggarakan secara online melalui platform Google Meet pada hari Sabtu, 12 September 2026, mulai pukul 13.00 hingga 15.00 WIB. Selain mendapatkan wawasan dan keterampilan baru, seluruh peserta yang hadir akan memperoleh berbagai keuntungan eksklusif.
