JAKARTA, July 13, 2026 – Universitas Bunda Mulia, through BM Class, will organize a Competency Certification Program in collaboration with the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program. The certification is intended for students as part of the university’s commitment to equipping graduates with industry-recognized professional credentials that align with current workforce demands.
The program offers a range of competency certification schemes in the hospitality and tourism sector, including Pastry Helper, Waiter, Bell Boy/Bell Attendant/Bell Service Attendant, Receptionist, and Room Attendant. The certification aims to assess and formally validate students’ competencies through an assessment process based on established professional standards.
The certification assessments will be conducted across both Universitas Bunda Mulia campuses according to a schedule tailored to each certification scheme. At the Serpong Campus, assessments for the Pastry Helper, Waiter, Bell Boy/Bell Attendant/Bell Service Attendant, Receptionist, and Room Attendant certification schemes will take place on Monday, July 27, 2026. Meanwhile, the same certification schemes will be conducted at the Ancol Campus on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Throughout the assessment process, participants will be guided by faculty members serving as the Person in Charge (PIC) for each certification group.
Through this program, Universitas Bunda Mulia aims to enhance students’ readiness to enter the professional workforce. In addition to earning formal recognition of their competencies, participants will gain valuable experience by undergoing assessments based on industry standards. This certification is expected to strengthen their professional credentials, enhance their competitiveness, and provide added value as they pursue careers in the hospitality, tourism, and broader service industries.

JAKARTA, 13 Juli 2026 – Universitas Bunda Mulia melalui BM Class akan menyelenggarakan Sertifikasi Kompetensi yang bekerja sama dengan Prodi Hospitality & Pariwisata. Sertifikasi ini diperuntukkan bagi mahasiswa sebagai upaya membekali lulusan dengan sertifikat kompetensi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri. Program ini menghadirkan berbagai skema sertifikasi di bidang hospitality dan pariwisata, meliputi Pastry Helper, Waiter, Bell Boy/Bell Attendant/Bell Service Attendant, Receptionist, Room Attendant, Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengukur sekaligus mengesahkan kompetensi mahasiswa melalui proses asesmen yang mengacu pada standar profesi.
Pelaksanaan sertifikasi akan berlangsung di dua kampus Universitas Bunda Mulia dengan jadwal yang telah disesuaikan berdasarkan skema sertifikasi. Di Kampus Serpong, sertifikasi untuk skema Pastry Helper, Waiter, Bell Boy/Bell Attendant/Bell Service Attendant, Receptionist, dan Room Attendant akan dilaksanakan pada Senin, 27 Juli 2026. Sementara itu, di Kampus Ancol, pelaksanaan untuk lima skema tersebut akan berlangsung pada Rabu, 29 Juli 2026. Seluruh proses asesmen akan didampingi oleh dosen pengampu yang bertindak sebagai PIC pada masing-masing kelompok sertifikasi.
Program ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kesiapan mahasiswa dalam menghadapi dunia kerja profesional. Selain memperoleh pengakuan atas kompetensi yang dimiliki, peserta juga akan mendapatkan pengalaman asesmen yang sesuai dengan standar industri sehingga memiliki nilai tambah dan daya saing yang lebih kuat saat memasuki dunia kerja di bidang hospitality, pariwisata, maupun industri jasa lainnya.
