Mahasiswa DKV Universitas Bunda Mulia Berpartisipasi dalam Pra KMDGI 2026 di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia // UBM Visual Communication Design Students Participate in Pre-KMDGI 2026 at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia
Mahasiswa Program Studi Desain Komunikasi Visual Universitas Bunda Mulia berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan Pra KMDGI (Kriyasana Mahasiswa Desain Grafis Indonesia) yang diselenggarakan pada 31 Januari hingga 1 Februari 2026 di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Bandung. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari rangkaian roadmap menuju KMDGI ke-16 tahun 2026 yang menjadi ruang awal bagi mahasiswa desain grafis untuk membangun koneksi, memperluas perspektif, serta memperkuat kolaborasi lintas institusi.
Partisipasi Universitas Bunda Mulia diwakili oleh Himpunan Mahasiswa DKV dari Kampus Serpong dan Kampus Ancol, dengan delegasi mahasiswa Astrella Ardine Tiofedora dari Kampus Ancol serta Celine Marcella dari Kampus Serpong. Kehadiran delegasi ini menjadi bentuk keterlibatan aktif mahasiswa Universitas Bunda Mulia dalam ekosistem desain grafis nasional sekaligus upaya untuk memperluas jejaring kolaboratif antar mahasiswa desain di Indonesia.
KMDGI ke-16 mengusung ide besar “Lintas Ruang,” yang dimaknai sebagai wadah untuk saling terkoneksi, ruang untuk berkolaborasi, serta kesempatan untuk tumbuh bersama melalui pertukaran gagasan dan pengalaman. Selaras dengan gagasan tersebut, Pra KMDGI mengangkat tema “HAYUK” dengan tagline “Terkoneksi, Berkolaborasi, dan Tumbuh Berseri,” yang hadir sebagai ajakan bagi mahasiswa desain untuk bergerak bersama dalam merespons berbagai tantangan terkait akses, sarana, serta konteks wilayah yang beragam.
Melalui kegiatan Pra KMDGI, mahasiswa mendapatkan ruang dialog, diskusi, serta eksplorasi ide yang memperkuat kesadaran akan peran desain sebagai medium kolaboratif dan responsif terhadap isu sosial maupun perkembangan industri kreatif. Keikutsertaan mahasiswa Universitas Bunda Mulia diharapkan dapat menjadi pengalaman berharga dalam mempersiapkan kontribusi yang lebih luas pada rangkaian KMDGI 16 sekaligus mendorong pertumbuhan jejaring kreatif yang berkelanjutan.
Students from the Visual Communication Design Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia participated in the Pre-KMDGI (Kriyasana Mahasiswa Desain Grafis Indonesia) event held on January 31 to February 1, 2026, at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Bandung. The event serves as part of the roadmap toward the 16th KMDGI in 2026, providing an initial platform for design students to build connections, expand perspectives, and strengthen inter-institutional collaboration.
Universitas Bunda Mulia was represented by the Visual Communication Design Student Associations from both the Serpong and Ancol campuses, with student delegates Astrella Ardine Tiofedora from the Ancol Campus and Celine Marcella from the Serpong Campus. Their participation reflects the active involvement of Universitas Bunda Mulia students within the national graphic design ecosystem while fostering collaborative networking among design students across Indonesia.
The 16th KMDGI carries the overarching idea of “Crossing Spaces” (Lintas Ruang), interpreted as a space for connection, collaboration, and collective growth through the exchange of ideas and experiences. In alignment with this concept, Pre-KMDGI adopted the theme “HAYUK” with the tagline “Connected, Collaborative, and Growing Together,” inviting design students to move collectively in responding to challenges related to access, facilities, and diverse regional contexts.
Through Pre-KMDGI, students engaged in dialogue, discussion, and idea exploration that strengthened awareness of design as a collaborative medium capable of responding to social issues and the evolving creative industry. The participation of Universitas Bunda Mulia students is expected to provide meaningful preparation for their involvement in KMDGI 16 while encouraging the development of sustainable creative networks.
