Jakarta, August 5, 2025 – The Visual Communication Design and Interactive Design Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) has conducted an Industry Visit to Visinema Pictures, under the theme “From Story to Screen: The Creative World of Visinema.” The visit took place at Jl. Kramat No.3A–C, RT.12/RW.1, Cilandak Timur, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Special Capital Region of Jakarta. This industry visit was aligned with the courses Narrative Filmmaking, Screenwriting & Directing, and Visual Storytelling and Character, which focus on the development and creation of narrative works. The visit served as an effective experiential learning method to broaden students’ understanding of real-world practices within the creative industry.
One of the main highlights of the visit was an interactive Q&A and discussion session with Mr. M. Ivan Ramli, Vice President of Creative and Story Development at Visinema Pictures. Mr. Ramli is a prominent figure in the Indonesian film industry, with writing credits that include Mencuri Raden Saleh (2022), Keluarga Cemara 2 (2022), Melankolia (2020), Love for Sale 2 (2019), Love for Sale (2018), Banda: The Dark Forgotten Trail (2017), and Filosofi Kopi 2 (2017). The discussion session was highly engaging, fueled by the students’ enthusiasm in asking questions and responding to Mr. Ramli’s insights. Topics ranged from scriptwriting and narrative structure to technical aspects of filmmaking and creative development.
The visit concluded with a group photo and the ceremonial presentation of a token of appreciation (TOA) to Mr. M. Ivan Ramli. The accompanying faculty members were Mr. M. Garry Saputra, S.Ds., M.Sn.,as the person in charge of Interactive Design students and Mr. M. Alif Wicaksono, S.Ds., M.Sn. as the person in charge of Visual Communication Design students, as the person in charge of Visual Communication Design students, as the person in charge of Visual Communication Design students, Student committee members included Jovan and Abiel Yizrel Panggula. Through this visit, students are expected to gain valuable insights into the process of storytelling and story development particularly within the context of film production.

Kunjungan Industri ke Visinema Picture “From Story to Screen: Creative World of Visinema”
Jakarta, 05 Agustus 2025 – Prodi Desain Komunikasi Visual dan Desain Interaktif UBM telah melaksanakan Kunjungan Industri ke Visinema Picture dan kunjungan kali ini bertajuk From Story to Screen: Creative World of Visinema” berlokasi di Jl. Kramat No.3A-C, RT.12/RW.1, Cilandak Tim., Ps. Minggu, Kota Jakarta Selatan, Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta. Kunjungan industri ini berkaitan dengan mata kuliah Narrative Filmmaking, Screenwriting & Directing, serta Visual Storytelling and Character yang dimana mata kuliah tersebut merancang dan menciptakan suatu narasi. Dengan adanya Kunjungan Industri ini menjadi salah satu metode pembelajaran yang efektif untuk membuka wawasan mahasiswa mengenai praktik nyata di dunia kerja kreatif.
Dalam kunjungan ini terdapat sesi tanya jawab dan diskusi langsung dengan praktisi, Bapak M. Ivan Ramli selaku VP Creative and Story Development at Visinema Pictures. Karya dari tulisan Ivan Ramli sendiri telah malang melintang dalam perfilman Indonesia, yang diantaranya: Mencuri Raden Saleh (2022), Keluarga Cemara 2 (2022), Melankolia (2020), Love For Sale 2(2019), Love For Sale 1 (2018), Banda The Dark Forgotten Trail (2017), Filosofi Kopi 2 (2017). Sesi diskusi sangat hangat karena antusiasme mahasiswa dalam bertanya dan merespon pernyataan Pak Ivan Ramli. Dari diskusi tersebut berkutat pada topik penciptaan karya naskah, plot cerita, teknis, dan lain sebagainya.
Kunjungan industri di tutup dengan foto bersama dan penyerahan TOA kepada Bapak M. Ivan Ramli. Dosen yang menjadi pendamping pada Kunjungan Industri kali ini adalah Bapak M Garry Saputra, S.Ds., M.Sn selaku penanggung jawab mahasiswa Desain Interaktif dan M. Alif Wicaksono, S.Ds., M.Sn,selaku penanggung jawab mahasiswa Desain Komunikasi Visual, serta mahasiswa yang menjadi panitia yakni Jovan dan Abiel Yizrel Panggula. Melalui kunjungan ini diharapkan mahasiswa memperoleh wawasan tentang penulisan dan pengembangan suatu cerita, yang utamanya untuk produksi sebuah film.
