Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) sukses menggelar kuliah umum dengan judul “Puzzling The Right Portfolio For The Creative Industry” pada Kamis, 26 Oktober 2023 di The UBM Premier Room, Kampus Ancol. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh mahasiswa/I DKV yang mengampu MK Portofolio Lanjutan.
Kuliah umum ini menghadirkan Reinhard Andersen, Lead Graphic Designer di Antikode dan juga merupakan alumni Prodi DKV angkatan 2010, sebagai narasumber. Reinhard menyampaikan materi tentang cara membuat portofolio yang tepat untuk industri kreatif. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi pengertian portofolio, jenis-jenis portofolio, kriteria portofolio yang baik, dan cara membuat portofolio yang menarik.
Kegiatan ini dibuka oleh Bapak Fransiskus Adikara, Dekan Fakultas Teknologi dan Desain 2 UBM. Dalam sambutannya, Bapak Fransiskus menyampaikan bahwa portofolio merupakan salah satu hal yang penting bagi mahasiswa DKV untuk menunjukkan kemampuan dan keterampilan mereka kepada calon pemberi kerja.
Kuliah umum ini dipandu oleh Reiner Andersen, mahasiswa DKV UBM, sebagai MC. Acara juga turut dihadiri oleh Yana Erlyana, Sekprodi DKV Kampus Ancol.
Kuliah umum ini diadakan secara hybrid, yaitu langsung dari The UBM Premier Room Kampus Ancol dan live ke Kampus Serpong. Acara ini juga didukung oleh Antikode, mitra UBM, yang memberikan 2 hadiah hiburan untuk penanya terbaik dan 2 orang pemenang yang diundi melalui media sosial Antikode.
Peserta kegiatan sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini. Mereka aktif bertanya dan berdiskusi dengan narasumber.
Kesimpulannya, kegiatan kuliah umum ini berjalan dengan lancar dan sukses. Kegiatan ini telah mencapai tujuan yaitu memberikan pemahaman kepada mahasiswa DKV tentang cara membuat portofolio yang tepat untuk industri kreatif.
UBM Successfully Holds Guest Lecture on How to Create a Portfolio for the Creative Industry
Bunda Mulia University (UBM) successfully held a public lecture titled “Puzzling the Right Portfolio for the Creative Industry” on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at The UBM Premier Room, Ancol Campus. The event was attended by DKV students who are taking the Advanced Portfolio course.
The public lecture featured Reinhard Andersen, Lead Graphic Designer at Antikode and an alumnus of the DKV program from the class of 2010, as a speaker. Reinhard delivered a presentation on how to create a portfolio that is right for the creative industry. The topics covered included the definition of a portfolio, the different types of portfolios, the criteria for a good portfolio, and how to create an eye-catching portfolio.
The event was opened by Fransiskus Adikara, Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Design 2 at UBM. In his remarks, Fransiskus said that a portfolio is one of the most important things for DKV students to showcase their skills and abilities to potential employers.
The public lecture was moderated by Reiner Andersen, a DKV student at UBM, as the MC. The event also featured Yana Erlyana, Head of the DKV Department at Ancol Campus.
The public lecture was held in a hybrid format, with participants attending in person at The UBM Premier Room in Ancol and via live stream at the Serpong Campus. The event was also supported by Antikode, a UBM partner, which provided two consolation prizes for the best question and two winners who were drawn through Antikode’s social media.
The participants were very enthusiastic about the event. They actively asked questions and discussed with the speaker.
In conclusion, the public lecture was a success. It achieved its goal of providing DKV students with an understanding of how to create a portfolio that is right for the creative industry.
