PENSAKLARAN LAMPU TERPUSAT MENGGUNAKAN DT - I/O RELAY BOARD v2.0 DAN VISUAL BASIC 6.0

Microcontroller is the heart of a computer which controls all inputand output devices; It has been proven that microcontroller technology plays an important role in many aspects such as in industrial robotics in a car manufcturing factory, pharmacy, computer, traffic lights, elevator, escalator, and others.
The use of central switching in computers with DT-I/O relay v2.0 increase working effectiveness and centralized light control, and the availability of efficient control center aids the processing of light usage in houses or buildings.
Microcontroller as relay controller can send data in accordance to the relaybeing controlled. Switching canaccurately gives information of the working light relay.

ANALISIS PENGUASAAN KATA ”BU” DAN ”MEI” MAHASISWA ANGKATAN 2006-2009 JURUSAN BAHASA DAN BUDAYA CHINA UNIVERSITAS BUNDA MULIA

The negative adverb “bu” and “mei” in original language-Chinese have significant differences, especially when they express tense, but in Indonesian they have no differences. The significant differences between “bu” and “mei” makes Chinese’s learners, especially in Indonesian confusion in the use of them in sentences. Authors interested in conducting research to determine how far the students of Bunda Mulia University majoring Chinese Language and Culture understanding the means and the usages of “bu” and “mei” and the trend of student’s mistakes in communicating this two words. Data were collected through tests, questionair, observations (students’ homework) and library research. The conclution is the students overall has a good understanding in the means and the usage of the negative adverb “bu” and “mei”, they just often make mistakes in some usages.

PERANAN IKHLAS DAN SABAR PADA SIKAP MENOLONG MAHASISWA JURUSAN PSIKOLOGI UNIVERSITAS BUNDA MULIA

Universitas Bunda Mulia merupakan lembaga pendidikan tinggi yang menyadari pentingnya pengembangan generasi muda penerus pembangunan bangsa yang berhati tulus (sincere) dan sifat mau menolong (helpful), di samping pribadi cerdas (smart) dan rajin (diligent). Sementara itu, Jurusan Psikologi Universitas Bunda Mulia harus mempersiapkan mahasiswanya menjadi calon psikolog yang merupakan profesi untuk menolong orang lain (helping profession), yang diharapkan memiliki kualitas positif tertentu sebagai bagian dari kompetensinya, seperti ikhlas dan sabar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran ikhlas (sincerity) dan sabar (patience) terhadap sikap menolong (helping attitude) yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa Jurusan Psikologi Universitas Bunda Mulia.
Penelitian ini merupakan survey yang dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa Jurusan Psikologi Universitas Bunda Mulia yang dipilh secara acak menjadi subjek penelitian. Sebagai alat pengumpulan data dipergunakan kuesioner skala tipe Likert (skala 7). Data yang telah terkumpul dikalibrasi dengan rating scale model untuk diolah lebih lanjut. Dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang positif antara ikhlas dengan sabar, antara ikhlas dengan sikap menolong, dan antara sabar dengan sikap menolong. Hasil pengolahan data dengan anova juga menunjukkan adanya hubungan interaksi antara ikhlas dan sabar dengan sikap menolong. Namun, hasil pengolahan data lebih lanjut menunjukkan bahwa peran ikhlas terhadap sikap menolong tergolong lemah, dan lebih banyak memiliki efek tidak langsung daripada efek langsung. Dalam model ini, perilaku sabar terlihat menjadi variabel moderator antara ikhlas dan sikap menolong. Variabel ikhlas terlihat memiliki peran sebagai determinan variabel sabar, selanjutnya variabel sabar juga memiliki peran sebagai determinan sikap menolong.

ANALISA WAKTU TUNGGU DI LAYANAN ADMINISTRASI AKADEMIK UNIVERSITAS BUNDA MULIA DENGAN METODE SIMULASI

Academic Administration Service management continues to be a major challenge for many Universities or school organizations as Universities are required to provide more services with less resources. Especially in information intense environments, short response times for service are essential to avoid disruptions to University’s day to day activities or Academic Administration Service’s facilities. Managers must regularly assess their manpower needs, and ensure that their allocations and operational decisions lead to the best service at the lowest cost. Service staff allocation and response-time in service involves many challenging problems, because the mean and variance of the response-time in service can increase dramatically with traffic intensity, consequently the design for this system has to be able to cope with this complication. This experiment discusses how to use simulation model to improve response-time in service and service operations. Therefore simulation experiments for analyzing the steady-state behavior of queuing systems over a range of traffic intensities are considered the best method of solution.
The technique of simulation consists of taking random samples from the probability distribution which represents the real-world system. In the case of queues, instead of the normal distribution, the usage of a uniform distribution or a random distribution may also be appropriate for solving the problem.
In this research the effects of dependent departure intervals on waiting times are examined for a one-station queuing system. These inter-arrival times are compared to a computer-simulated inter-arrival times having dependent arrivals. A series of response-times in service experiments are also compared to a computer-simulated service times. Significant differences in service times are found due to the mean and variance of the service times.
The purpose of this research is to propose a new dynamic-server queuing model to increase system efficiency and customer satisfaction compared with the current practice. This research work and proposed simulation model will surely invite the development and creation of a similar algorithm model for multi-server, multi-queue systems.

HUBUNGAN MOTIVASI MENGIKUTI PERKULIAHAN DENGAN KINERJA MENGAJAR DOSEN DI KELAS PADA MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS BUNDA MULIA, JAKARTA

University students have more self responsibility for their own learning process. However, a lot of people thought that student perception toward lectures teaching also had significant contribution for university student learning motivation.
To explain this at UBM Jakarta, a cross sectional research was conducted using quantitative approach. Subjects were 350 UBM students from 10 departement, that taken with incidental sampling technique.
This research result showed there was significant relation between learning motivation and lectures teaching in the class at Bunda Mulia University. Lecture teaching give (sumbangan effective) 26, 9 % and 73, 1% there another factor that have influence to learning motivation, including self-concept, parenting style, demografi, and peer group.
