Press Release Talkshow “Get to Know Broadcasting and Marketing Communication: With The Expert from Experience”

Oleh Adventia Biane Atmadja (Mahasiswi Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Bunda Mulia Kampus Serpong Angkatan 2023) – Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi (COMRADE) Universitas Bunda Mulia Kampus Serpong telah berhasil melaksanakan talkshow bertemakan “Get to Know Broadcasting and Marketing Communication: With The Expert from Experience” pada Jumat, (02/05) pukul 12.00–15.30 WIB di Lecture Hall Lt. 5, Alfa Tower UBM Kampus Serpong yang dihadiri kurang lebih 100 peserta.

By Adventia Biane Atmadja (Communication Science Student, Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus, Class of 2023) – The Communication Science Study Program Student Association (COMRADE) of Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus has successfully held a talk show with the theme “Get to Know Broadcasting and Marketing Communication: With The Expert from Experience” on Friday, (02/05) at 12.00-15.30 WIB at the Lecture Hall, 5th Floor, Alfa Tower UBM Serpong Campus which included approximately 100 participants.

Acara ini ditujukan bagi mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi angkatan 2024 yang sedang menentukan peminatan antara Broadcasting dan Marketing Communication. Dipandu oleh MC yakni Afifa Alvira Devi, talkshow ini menghadirkan juga Moderator yaitu Miss Kristin Nomleni, S.I.Kom., M.I.Kom dan dua narasumber alumni, yaitu Ryan Fernando (Broadcasting) dan Krisan Indri (Marketing Communication), yang turut membagikan materi dan pengalaman di bidang masing-masing. Keduanya telah memiliki pengalaman profesional di industrinya dan memberikan perspektif langsung mengenai tantangan, peluang, serta keterampilan yang dibutuhkan dalam dunia kerja.

This event is intended for Communication Science students of the 2024 batch who are currently deciding between Broadcasting and Marketing Communication. Hosted by MC Afifa Alvira Devi, this talk show also presents a Moderator, Miss Kristin Nomleni, S.I.Kom., M.I.Kom and two alumni speakers, Ryan Fernando (Broadcasting) and Krisan Indri (Marketing Communication), who also share materials and experiences in their respective fields. Both have professional experience in their industries and provide first-hand perspectives on the challenges, opportunities, and skills needed in the world of work.

Selama acara, para peserta tidak hanya mendapatkan inspirasi dari pengalaman narasumber, tetapi juga pemaparan materi yang memperkaya wawasan mengenai dunia kerja di industri komunikasi. Talkshow ini menjadi wadah diskusi interaktif bagi mahasiswa yang ingin lebih mengenal arah peminatan sesuai minat dan tujuan karier mereka.

During the event, participants not only gained inspiration from the experiences of the speakers, but also exposure to material that enriched their insight into the world of work in the communications industry. This talk show became a forum for interactive discussion for students who wanted to get to know more about the direction of interest according to their interests and career goals.

Melalui talkshow ini, diharapkan kegelisahan yang dirasakan oleh mahasiswa semester 2, yang baru menentukan peminatan untuk semester berikutnya dapat berkurang. Acara ini membantu mereka untuk lebih mantap dan percaya diri terhadap pilihan yang telah diambil. Sebagai penutup, acara dilanjutkan dengan sesi penyampaian informasi tambahan oleh Miss Virgitta Septyana, S.I.Kom., M.Si selaku Manager Akademik 2A Kampus Serpong, guna menjawab pertanyaan lanjutan seputar kedua peminatan dalam Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi.

Through this talk show, it is hoped that the anxiety felt by second-semester students, who are just deciding on their interests for the next semester, can be reduced. This event helps them to be more confident and confident in the choices they have made. As a closing, the event continued with a session of delivering additional information by Miss Virgitta Septyana, S.I.Kom., M.Si as Academic Manager 2A Serpong Campus, to answer further questions about the two interests in the Communication Studies Program.
