Evaluation of XCM Work Program for 2023/2024 Period “Synergy in Motion: Building a Stronger Team for a Brighter Future”

The Excellent Community of Management (XCM) Work Program Evaluation for the 2023/2024 period was successfully held with the theme of “Synergy in Motion: Building Stronger Teams for a Brighter Future.” This activity intends to strengthen the members’ personal engagement and increased harmony among the students. As a routine activity, the event provides an opportunity for students to communicate better, increase their sense of kinship, and motivate them to improve organizing capabilities. This year’s evaluation event is focused on assessing the shortcomings, strengths, and successes of the work program that has been carried out during one period, as well as improving and enhancing future work programs.

For two days and one night, from Friday, July 19 to Saturday, July 20, 2024, with 42 Excellent Community of Management (XCM) students; the event went smoothly. The rundown of activities was well designed, to ensure the entire agenda was carried out as planned. On the first day, participants gathered and registered at UBM Ancol at 06.00. After traveling to Alfa Resort in Bogor, all participants completed the check-in and room assignment process. The event continued with the evaluation and inauguration of XCM, where there were discussions, messages, and feedback regarding the results of the hard work during the 2023/2024 program.

After lunch at the Alfa Resort, the event continued with preparation and training, as well as the XCM games session. In the evening, participants enjoyed a barbeque dinner, followed by a gathering and gift exchange, which provided a memorable experience.

On the second day, activities began with morning exercises and ice breaking, followed by breakfast at the Alfa Resort. Then, participants short-walked to the waterfall to enjoy a brief nature tourism. After returning to the resort, they showered and cleaned up, then checked out of the Alfa Resort. Next, the trip continued to “Bukit Karmel Orphanage” for XCM CARE activities which unfortunately had to be canceled due to technical constraints. After that, participants returned to UBM Ancol. The theme “Synergy in Motion” successfully illustrates the importance of synergy in a team to achieve a common goal, inviting all members to keep moving forward, work together harmoniously, and support each other.

This activity left a deep impression on all participants, both in terms of constructive feedback and fond memories of being part of XCM. This evaluation event not only strengthens the relationship between members, but also provides clear guidelines for future work program improvements. With these positive results, XCM is expected to continue to grow and achieve bigger and better goals in the future. This Work Program Evaluation is expected to be a strong foundation for XCM in facing future challenges, as well as motivating all members to continue working and contributing for mutual progress.
