On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, the Management Study Program held a Community Service activity with the theme “Investing: Grow Your Money Like A Pro (Even As A Teen)”. This activity was organized by the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia which was held at R1412 UBM Serpong Campus. The number of participants who attended was 27 students from SMA Mutiara Bangsa 1.
This activity was greeted with enthusiasm from all participants who took part in the activity. The event was held at 10.00-11.00. Furthermore, this community service activity was presented by ms. Dr. Ika Pratiwi Simbolon, S.E., M.M. as a lecturer in the Management Study Program, Serpong Campus and Vallen who is a student in the Management Study Program, Serpong Campus.
The material presented in this activity was about the introduction to investment as one of the steps for participants in generating profits at a young age. The online stock simulation conducted for each student went smoothly. Stock analysis was discussed further, especially the analysis of balance sheets and profit and loss reports so that students could understand how to assess the performance of a stock. This was discussed to make it easier for students to make better investment decisions. After completing the material presentation session, the event continued with a question and answer session asked to the speaker. Hopefully, with this activity, participants can increase their knowledge and practical insight regarding strategies for investing in the capital market.
