Bogor, August 26, 2024 – The Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia has successfully organized a Community Service (PKM) activity with the theme “Creative Entrepreneurship: Branding Strategy” at SMA Kesatuan, Bogor. This activity aimed to provide basic knowledge about entrepreneurship and business to high school students, in an effort to equip them with relevant insights and useful knowledge for their future in the business world.
The event, which took place from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, was attended by 150 tenth-grade students. The material on entrepreneurship was delivered directly by Dr. Siti Yasmina Zubaedah, a lecturer at Universitas Bunda Mulia, who has extensive experience and knowledge in the business field. In her presentation, she shared insights on the importance of entrepreneurial skills in building businesses and capturing opportunities. The community service activity was also assisted by Laura Caroline, an active and accomplished student from the fifth semester of the management program.
This session introduced practical entrepreneurial concepts, ranging from the definition of business, identifying opportunities, distinguishing between products and brands, brand formulation, and how to start innovating to create competitive advantages through proper brand formulation. It is hoped that this will motivate students to begin thinking creatively and boldly pursue business opportunities from an early age. In addition to the material presentation, the activity was also conducted interactively. The students showed high enthusiasm by actively asking and answering various questions about the world of entrepreneurship.
As an appreciation for their active participation, the event concluded with the awarding of prizes to students who provided the best questions and answers during the session. After that, all students and speakers took a group photo as a memento of the success of this activity.
This Community Service activity is a tangible manifestation of Universitas Bunda Mulia’s commitment to supporting the development of entrepreneurship education at the secondary school level. The Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia hopes that such activities can inspire more students to explore the world of business and become successful young entrepreneurs in the future.
