Hi Biemers!!! Did you know? On Saturday, July 8, 2023, the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia Ancol Campus participated in the National Business Competition (NBC) at Trisakti School of Management (TSM) with the theme “Establish Quality: A New Generation in Taking Opportunity” and achieved the Runner-Up II award in the competition.
In this year’s National Business Competition (NBC), Team WDR (Roy Candra, Dean Julian, and Wily Dozen) developed a business plan for an “L” milk product, offering the solution “From Us To Earth” as a sustainability strategy for their product. Team ALLY (Evelyn Angelica, Laura Caroline, and Anthonio Orlando Lawadinata) implemented the CISE strategy to enhance both brand awareness and company profitability while prioritizing a sustainability program. Lastly, Team Dreamcatcher (Cerlysia, Vania Risyona, and Laurencia Meidi) combined product and competitor analysis with their innovative 3P Green Edition strategy, rooted in sustainability and educational programs, detailed with an actionable implementation plan.
There were several stages that the participants had to go through in this competition. First, participants were given a business case related to a milk product, where each participant had to propose solutions and innovative programs that could convincingly address the challenges faced by the company in the case. The Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia Ancol Campus was represented by three active student teams: Team ALLY, Team WDR, and Team Dreamcatcher, all of which successfully advanced to the semifinals. The next stage was the announcement of the Top 5 finalists, with the rankings as follows: Institut Pertanian Bogor won first place, followed by Institut Teknologi Bandung in second place, Universitas Tarumanagara in third place, Universitas Indonesia in fourth place, and Universitas Bunda Mulia securing fifth place.
This achievement reflects the contribution of students from the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia Ancol Campus. Success is a journey, not a destination, and it is hoped that UBM students will achieve even greater accomplishments in the future. Proud to be Biemers, UBM Campus of Achievements.
