II. EVENT
From this Guest Lecture ‘F&B Business Opportunities F&B’, which took place has provided knowledge to students about how to have a broad-minded and looking for opportunities for the future. Not that only, the professional world will be faced by graduates of Hospitality & Tourism, but students will also be able to see opportunities into the business world. Business opportunities in the F&B world, and the speaker provide an insight about how large the business sectors engaged in F&B can become business opportunities and opportunities in the future. The example presented by the speaker was the field of business that was being carried out by him, namely the business field of supplying pure milk products in Cisarua and developing into other F&B products such as Yogurt and Kefir.

From the Service Excellent and Future Career seminars, the students are provided knowledge about how to provide good service to customers, that doing and working in the service sector, not just doing according to the SOP, but carried out in a full voluntary way and provide the best where this can be done in daily activities, is very useful in working in the future, so it can compete with employees from other countries and is a plus for students of Bunda Mulia University. Students who attended showed a positive response from the participants towards this training activity. From the beginning of the explanation to the end, the participants were seen listening and practicing the activity.

With these results it can be concluded that both the material and speakers of this seminar are good enough and hopefully the benefits of the seminar can also be felt directly by the participants.

Internship Study Program Hospitality and Tourism, Universitas Bunda Mulia at Malaysia

As a part of curriculum Study Program Hospitality and Tourism, Universitas Bunda Mulia, some of the our student currently at 6th semester have a chance to do internship opportunity at Malaysia.

On January, 13th, 2020, 5 students joined from Ancol and Serpong Campus flew to Malaysia to do Internship at Grand ION Delemen Hotel, Genting Highlands. They are Nabila Kuswayan, Hendra Irwanto, Alicia Lee, and Stephanie Huga Adobe. The period started from January, 13th, 2020 until July, 12th, 2020. The grand opportunity given to the students starting from recruitment until document preparation needed such as Visa, Confirmation letter, and Ticket.

Now, the students has been at the location and has been started their works. We as a lecturer wish that the grand opportunity will be used by them to support all the skill and knowledge for their best career and future.

Internship Hospitality and Tourism Study Program Universitas Bunda Mulia Ancol Campus at China

As a part of curriculum Study Program Hospitality and Tourism, Universitas Bunda Mulia, some of the our student currently at 6th semester have a chance to do internship opportunity at China.

On January, 05th, 2020, 2 students joined from Ancol Campus flew to China to do Internship at Howard Johnson Riverview Hotel Guangzhou, China. They are Fernando and Della Zhang. The period started from January, 07th, 2020 until July, 06th, 2020. The grand opportunity given to the students starting from recruitment until document preparation needed such as Visa, Confirmation letter, and Ticket.

Now, the students has been at the location and has been started their works. We as a lecturer wish that the grand opportunity will be used by them to support all the skill and knowledge for their best career and future.

Conference Activity Study Program Hospitality and Tourism Serpong Campus at STPBI (Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bali International)

On Febuari, 14th, 2020, one of the lecturer from Hospitality and Tourism Study Program attended conference held by HILDIKTIPARI at STPBI (Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bali International). The conference attended by Hari Iskandar, SE,MM.

The discussion talked about creating five cluster Tourism study program and we as a academic person need to create and being a part of our community to support our cluster study program. The 5 cluster are Tourism, Hospitality, Tour and Travel, MICE, and Destination.

At the end of the day, we have firmed our vision and mission to make our program and becoming a part of the program.

MONITORING ACTIVITIES OF INDUSTRIAL PLACEMENT BALI PERIOD 2019-2020 HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM STUDY PROGRAM BUNDA MULIA UNIVERSITY

Monitoring Activities of Industrial Placement for Odd Semester 2019-2020 Hospitality and Tourism Study Program students was held in Bali on 11-14 February 2020 by the Secretary of Hospitality and Tourism Study Program of Bunda Mulia University, Antonius Rizki Krisnadi S.ST.Par., MM.Par . This activity involved several hospitality industries in Bali with 10 hotels and 1 Theme Park, namely InterContinental Bali, Ritz Carlton Nusa Dua, The Laguna Nusa Dua, Grand Hyatt Bali, Hard Rock Hotel Bali, Sofitel Nusa Dua., Taman Safari Bali, Hilton Garden Inn Bali, LV8 Seminyak, The Stone Bali.

The main purpose of this monitoring activity is not only to foster industrial relations with the campus, but also the campus as the organizer of education will receive the latest information about industry needs regarding student competencies. Not only that, the industry will also provide input on the quality of student performance during industrial placement in that place.

Academic Tourism Study Program Consortium Activities

On Friday, February 14, 2020, the Consortium for Academic Tourism Study Program (KORPRODIKPARI / KSPA) under the auspices of HILDIKTIPARI (Association of Indonesian Higher Education Institutions) held a Tourism Study Program Consortium for Universities, Tourism Colleges and Polytechnic for Tourism Studies Programs in Indonesia, at Bali International Tourism College (STPBI). Hospitality and Tourism Study Program at Bunda Mulia University, Ancol Campus, represented by Antonius Rizki Krisnadi, SST.Par., MM.Par as Secretary of the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program at Ancol Campus participated in the event.

The purpose and purpose of this event is regarding the coordination meeting regarding Membership Procedures, Program Activities and Group Discussion Forums regarding the policy of the Minister of Education and Culture as Independent Capabilities.

The results of this event throughout the University, College of Tourism and Polytechnic agreed in the cooperation of Higher Education Tridharma between Universities and cooperation in Learning Achievement of Curricula produced to build superior Tourism Human Resources.

“PREPARATION AND PREPARATION OF THE SAWAH VILLAGE OF CILEMBER DISTRICT, CISARUA DISTRICT AS A SMART VILLAGE”

On 18 January 2020 Hospitality and Tourism Study Program held community service activities in the tourism village of Cilember, Cisarua District, Bogor Regency. This activity was attended by 30 people of the Cilember tourism village community, including representing Youth Organizations, Tourism actors, PKK mothers and village officials. In this service, the PKM activities that had previously been carried out and the level of preparing the community and conducting activities in Cilember Tourism Village in the form of information technology both in the form of marketing tourism products and administration in terms of data collection on homestay use and data collection related to tourist visits.

In this activity Mr. Imam Ardiansyah provided material related to starting to set homestay business standards that will be enforced in the tourism village of Cilember, and this standard will be discussed between tourism actors in the tourism village of Cilember and village officials. Meanwhile, Mr. Rianto brought whatever tourism product material that had to be prepared by the Cilember tourism village community which would later be included in the Cillember tourism village web display. For web development, it will be assisted by Informatics Engineering Study Program at Bunda Mulia University.

COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT / TESTING ACTIVITIES FOR VOCATIONAL COMPETENCY TEST FOR F&B PRODUCTS

The Expertise Competency Test (UKK) activity is an assessment that is held specifically for vocational students to measure the achievement of student competencies that are equivalent to 2 (two) or 3 (three) qualifications at KKNI. UKK is conducted at the end of the study period by a Professional Certification Institute or accredited education unit with business / industrial partners. UKK results for students will be indicators of achievement of graduate competency standards. Whereas for UKK stakeholders the results are used as a source of information on the competencies of prospective workers. On Friday – Saturday Mr. Yudhiet Fajar Dewantara, S.Pd., M.Par. assigned to be an F&B Product Competency assessor at an Indonesian tourist school in the South Jakarta area. On Friday an Assessment for Competency Test is carried out using the equipment that has been prepared by the LSP. Starting from independent research, interviews, observations and demonstrations conducted by students of SMK Wisata Indonesia. On Friday, February 14, 2020 the assessor (Mr. Yudhiet Fajar Dewantara) conducted an interview and observation assessment on the second day, Saturday, February 15, 2020 the assessor (Mr. Yudhiet Fajar Dewantara) conducted a Demonstration Research which is a practice for processing poultry and game animals. There are 15 participants in the Assessing. Where divided into two shifts to conduct an assessment of the participants. Then the assessors give feedback to the participants about the products they made for future improvements.

Indonesia International Education & Training Expo 2020 Activity

On February 9, 2020, the Hospitalty and Tourism Study Program participated in a marketing event, the Indonesia International Education & Training Expo 2020, which was held at the Jakarta Convention Center, Senayan. This event introduces the Hospitalty and Tourism study program to high school or vocational high school students who aim to provide information. In this activity a Hospitality and Tourism student named Ratih Pratiwi made a canape type menu namely, Mini Oreo Crepe Cake, Crispy Rice Nori Shredded Chicken, and Baked Potato with Scallion and Smoke Beef accompanied by a Hospitality and Tourism lecturer in the field of Food Products by Mr. Yudhiet Fajar Dewantara and Prayogo Susanto.

This activity received a positive response because a lot of visitors of school students approached the Bunda Mulia University booth to sample the canape menu and asked questions about lectures at Bunda Mulia University, especially in the Hospitality and Tourism study program.
