PENSAKLARAN  LAMPU TERPUSAT MENGGUNAKAN  DT - I/O  RELAY BOARD v2.0 DAN VISUAL BASIC 6.0

Microcontroller is the heart of a computer which controls all inputand output devices; It has been proven that microcontroller technology plays an important role in many aspects such as in industrial robotics in a car manufcturing factory, pharmacy, computer, traffic lights, elevator, escalator, and others.

The use of central switching in computers with DT-I/O relay v2.0 increase working effectiveness and centralized light control, and the availability of efficient control center aids the processing of light usage in houses or buildings.

Microcontroller as relay controller can send data in accordance to the relaybeing controlled. Switching canaccurately gives information of the working light relay.

APLIKASI SHORT MESSAGE SERVICE (SMS) PEMANTAU KEHADIRAN KARYAWAN UNIVERSITAS BUNDA MULIA

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan Aplikasi Short Message Service Pemantau Kehadiran Karyawan Universitas Bunda Mulia, sebagai sistem pendukung untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan dan produktifitas karyawan. Dampak langsung dengan adanya sistem aplikasi ini diantaranya : Atasan setiap departemen dapat memantau kinerja karyawan secara mobile, Memudahkan HRD untuk membuat rekap laporan kehadiran karyawan. Membantu  ketercapaian  target kinerja dengan baik.

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode Systems Development Life Cycle sebagaimana layaknya pengembangan sistem  yang meliputi tahapan identifikasi masalah, analisis sistem, pemodelan sistem dan perancangan sistem dan disertai percobaan di laboratorium serta pengujian validitas informasi yang dihasilkan dari sistem aplikasi sms tersebut.

Aplikasi yang dihasilkan berupa serangkaian perangkat yang terdiri sistem software dengan platform java serta didukung dengan database engine SQL dan integrasi dari beberapa hardware yang terdiri dari Finger Scan, Dekstop dan Handphone dengan memanfaatkan layanan sistem komunikasi seluler.

Perancangan dan Pembangunan Sistem Pakar
untuk Menguji Kecerdasan Akademik
dan Kecerdasan Emosional

There are several factors that determine human’s quality in their daily lives. Intelligence Quotion (IQ) and Emotional Quotion (EQ) are two of the examples. Those factors can be implemented by using computer system software that is capable to be an accurate and effective “advisor” in decision making process.  IQ is a mental ability that involves a rational thinking process that can be derived from a variety of actions. EQ, on the other hand, is someone’s ability to control their emotion in pleasure and pain. Abstracted from few resources, an analysis and a required hardware as well as software design are conducted to support the making of humans’ IQ and EQ Tesing software. The design, in the form of hardware and software, has been implemented and the evaluation result matches the expectation.

Perancangan Basis Data dengan Mempertimbangkan Keserupaan Struktur Tabel

In developing a computer-based information system, database is needed for storing data. Database that is used in the information system is made based on Relational Database Management System Rules especially Normalization Rule.

The purpose of Normalization is to increase data consistency, to eliminate redundancy, and to increase efficiency in using secondary memory. Normalization Rule focuses in data entities which later are processed to become a database.

In developing a computer-based information system, it is also important to consider the resistant of information system through modification that happens to the objects that are computerized. Modification of objects that are computerized is never considered in normalization rule. As the result, normalization becomes the source of difficulty that causes information system cannot react to the changes of computerized objects.

This research discuss about modification of database created after normalization process, so a database can be more flexible in following the developed computerized objects that can be changed based on the situation.

MEMBANGUN APLIKASI  PSIKOTES BERBASIS KOMPUTER

For all this time psycho test problems are hard and confusing, the actual hamper in completing the psycho test is the lack of instructions understanding and the lack of comprehension of what the psycho test organizer intentions, especially during the drawing test and the image filling test.
Based on the mentioned problem above, a computer-based psycho test application is designed to assist the participant or the psycho test organizer. The boundary of the research is limited to the Verbal Test (synonyms, antonyms, analytics, and the comparison test), Quantitative Test (arithmetic, mathematic) and Image Test. This article discusses about how the computer-based psycho test application could run well.
The research methodology used is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle).
The result is a computer-based psycho test application which can be used as training for the society. The program layout consists of main menu, arithmetic problem form, mathematic problems form, synonym form, antonym form, comparison form, analytics form, images form and checking form.
